Crafter's Cafe - Use RED

I am back with another Challenge over at Crafter's Cafe. Now I know Valentine's Day has passed, but our theme this week is to use RED, so hopefully you have not put away that stash yet.

Theme: Use Red
Sponsor: Rick St. Dennis

I have made a couple of cards using this fun little image. I made a really cute one about 10 days ago using some purples...not realizing what our theme was. Doh! Oh well, it made for a cute card anyway.

This is a fun little image created by our sponsor Rick St. Dennis. He has some wonderful images, so we sure hope you pop over to his shop and check out what he has to offer.  And who knows, if you play along, you just may win some of his fabulous works of art!

I learned a little trick this time around. Some of the detail is so fine, I found it somewhat difficult to color. But I had read that some people print out the image large, color it and then scan and shrink it down. Now how amazing is that? I just love new techniques.

So hopefully I have inspired you to play along! Sure hope to see you over at Crafter's Cafe!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Grandma's Cookies

So it begins. Another challenge over at The Crafter's Cafe. Our theme this week is Sewing or Faux. My sewing machine is currently in the shop, so I had to go with Faux this time.

Theme: Sewing or Faux

I god this fun sentiment stamp last year and I find myself looking for images that it will work with. When I saw this fun grandma image over at Robin's Fetish, I had to have it. I decided to decorate my card as a quilt, I thought that would be fun with the Faux technique. I even added a little heart button.

I decorated the inside of my card as well. I have been doing that recently. It really makes a difference don't you think?

Here is a closer look at the image as well as the sentiment which is from So Suzy Stamps. It is brand new and the first time I have used it.

So get out that sewing machine or piercing tool and lets see what you can create. We would love to see it.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenge:

The Crafter's Cafe - Pampered!

It's a new year and a new challenge at The Crafter's Cafe. Our theme this challenge is "something new." I have seen a few challenges this month with the exact same theme, so hopefully you will have some new toys that you have been itching to try out.

Image: Pampered

This is a new sponsor to me. I was excited to be introduced to her work as it is so fun. Isn't this image fantastic? I thought it would make a great birthday card.

The sentiment is from Bugaboo Digi's. It came with one of the images I purchased, but I thought it worked well with this image.

So relax, kick up your heals and take some time for you! We would love to see what you come up with.

The Crafter's Cafe - Christmas

Hello and happy Wednesday! By now you are probably in full on panic as Christmas is quickly approaching. This is definitely a busy time of year, but we sure hope you have time to play along in this week's challenge over at The Crafter's Cafe.

Theme:  Christmas
Sponsor: Eureka Stamps

When I saw this image, I knew it would make a perfect tag. Those long..tall images work so well for tags and book markers as well.

I used fun Christmas colors and a bright red for the edges of the tag. Of course I had to add a red bow as well.  Don't you think this will look great on someone's Christmas present? Just need to decide who...

This fun image and many more are available over at Eureka stamps, so be sure to stop by and check them out. Now, we would love for you to use one of these stamps, that is not a requirement to play along. So come on..I am sure you need at least one more Christmas card. So why not play along.

We would love to see what you come up with!

Crafter's Cafe - Things with Wings

It is that time again. Another Challenge at The Crafter's Cafe

Theme:  Things with Wings
Sponsor:  QKR Stampede

This fun little image is called "Sick Angel".

I decided to go with blue as I am sending this to my little nephew.
He has been a little under the weather!

Hopefully you are feeling well enough to join us in our challenge! Can't wait to see what you come up with.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Crafter's Cafe - Child's Birthday

I am running a bit behind today with my post for the challenge over at Crafter's Cafe.  But better late than never, so here we go...

Theme:  Child's Birthday

This sweet image is called Alice Honey. Isn't she sweet? As you can see, I made a girl birthday card, with lots of pink.

I also decorated the inside of my card to match the outside.

Now we all can use some birthday cards, so this is a good time to play along! Hope to see you over at Crafter's Cafe.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Crafter's Cafe - Flowers in My Garden

It is time for another challenge over at Crafter's Cafe. This week our theme is "Anything Goes" and our sponsor is A Day for Daisies.

I chose to work with this wonderful little image called Flowers in My Garden.
It is such a sweet little image, I just love it. I chose to use vibrant colors, pinks, purples and a little girl with dark black hair.

I added a purple ribbon and flowers I had in my stash to finish off my card. I even made a matching envelope.

So come on, what are you waiting for? We would love to see what you create.

Crafter's Cafe - Favorite Movie Love Line...

When I saw the challenge theme for this week over at Crafter's Cafe, I must say, I was a little worried. Now I definitely know what my favorite line is from my favorite movie. I have no problem sitting through Pride and Prejudice to get to that last scene with Mr. Darcy and Lizzie. So can you guess what my favorite line is? It probably is not too hard to guess if you know the movie, and you are a romantic like I am.

Now, the reason I fretted over this challenge is because I wasn't quite sure how I would incorporate a digi into this challenge, but I did.

I Love Love Love this movie! Here is a closer look at my sentiment -

I was even able to find a great saying for the inside of my card -

Our sponsor this week is Eureka stamps.

As you can see, they have an image for every occasion!
So come along and play. I would love to see what your favorite line is from your favorite move.
And if you need some help, feel free to grab my images for your card, but if you do, please play along!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Happy Wednesday! Time for another challenge over at The Crafter's Cafe. This week our theme is Polka Dots and Ribbon. Our sponsor is The Stamping Boutique.

The image I worked with is called Marker Cynthia. When I saw this image, I knew it would be perfect for a "Crafter's Card."

I used lots of fun lime green and purple colors. Hmm...what do you think? Well, I hope that it inspires you to play along. We would love to see what you create. Don't forget to support our wonderful sponsors. They are so generous!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Crafter's Cafe Challenge #67 - White and Another Color

Happy Wednesday! It is time for another challenge over at Crafter's Cafe. I have been home for a few days now and have been getting back in the groove of card making. I am here to share with you my DT card for this weeks challenge. Our theme is "Use white and another color." Sounds simple enough. Our sponsor is Art by Miran.

The image I got to work with this week is called "Winter." The image looked like she was thinking of someone, so I decided to go with a "Thinking of you" card. You can never have too many of those on hand.

Here is a closer look at the sentiment. It was a freebie over at Created with TLC.

So come along and play over at the Crafter's Cafe. We would love to see what you create. Hope you enjoy the rest of your week.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Crafter's Cafe - Flowers

It is Wednesday, that means another challenge over at Crafter's Cafe. Our theme this week is "Use 3 flowers" and our sponsor is Sweet n Sassy Stamps. The image I chose to work with is called Tulips. This image is perfect for many occasions and is so versatile.

My Mom has been asking me for some sympathy cards, so I thought this would be a good opportunity to get working on those. These are always good cards to have on hand.

So get out your flowers and lets see what you can come up with. Can't wait to see it!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Crafter Cafe - Super Girl

I am here to share my card for the challenge going on over at Crafter's Cafe. The theme this challenge is "Girly" and our sponsor is GuyLou's Digi Stamps.

So this may not be your typical girly card, but why not? She looks fab decked out in her Super Hero costume. Not every girl has to wear ribbons and bows to be girly...right? So come on and play along. Show us your girly cards.

The Crafter's Cafe - Father Time

It is time for another challenge over at The Crafter's Cafe. Our theme this week is Time. So we would love to see you use a clock/watch in your projects. Our sponsor is Limited Runs and I got to work with the image called "Father Time."

I found the background on the web and printed it onto photo paper. I find with some of the pictures on the web, photo paper works better than just plain glossy paper. This will make a great Christmas or New Year's card.

So come along and play this week, I am sure you can find the "TIME". Would love to see what you create.

The Crafter's Cafe - Steampunk

Time for another challenge over at Crafter's Cafe. Our Sponsor this week is Bugaboo stamps and our theme is Steampunk.

The image I chose to work with is called Floneday. It worked great for this week's theme and I had a lot of fun putting this card together.

So why not play along? We would love to see what you come up with.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
