Pattie's Creations - Easter Celebrations

Hi everyone. This is my very last post on the Design team over at Pattie's Creations. I have had the pleasure of being on this team for a bit over a year and now it is time to say goodbye!

Our theme this month is Easter Celebrations. I thought it would be fun to make a cute, funny card to get you in the spirit of the challenge.

Patty has some great Easter images, so if you need some to play along, be sure to check out the store. The cost is very reasonable as well.

I hope I have inspired you to play along! Can't wait to see what you create!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Let the Cravings Begin - Pattie's Creations

I just got back in town and realized that I had not scheduled this...it was still in draft mode. That is what happens when I am forced to work and not be able to focus on my crafting! LOL

So I am a little late, but it is not too late to join our challenge over at Pattie's Creations.

Theme: Green Dominant Color

Pickle Jar with cover

Our theme this month is to use green. Now that does seem appropriate being that it is the month of St. Patty's Day. When I saw this image, I thought to myself...pickles are green.. and that settled my image choice.

I decided to make a congratulations card featuring a pregnant woman and a BIG jar of Pickles. It turned out to be a really fun card. Now I just have to find someone to give it to...any takers? LOL.

So take some time this month and be sure to check out Pattie's store. You don't have to use one of her images, but wouldn't it be fun if you did?

Hope to see you there.

Pattie's Creations - Sending Lotsa Love

Wow! can you believe that we are already into the second month of 2015? A new month means a new challenge over at Pattie's Creations.

Theme: Love

This is my first attempt at a box card. It was not as difficult as I thought it would be. These cards are so fun. I am sure I will be making some more. Pattie has lots of fun images that would work great on these cards, so be sure to go over and give her store a peak.

You have all month to play along. We would love for you to use one of Pattie's creations, but it is not mandatory...what is mandatory is to have fun!

Sure hope you find some time to play along!

Theme: Fun in the Snow

This is our very first challenge of the New Year. We have a lot of fun challenges coming your way this year so we sure hope that you play along. This fun image is called winter mittens. I know many of you out there are still experiencing cold weather, and these fun little mittens would sure come in handy.

So now that the holidays are over, we sure hope that you take some time in your warm home and play along, and while you are at it, be sure to pop on over to Pattie's shop and check out some of her fun digi's.

Pattie's Creations - Fall Colors

Boy times are getting busy....but not to busy to share a little challenge inspiration for our current challenge over at Pattie's Creations

Theme:  Autumn Colors

And they sure are popping up everywhere. For my inspiration this challenge, I am using a fun little image called Spooky Scarecrow.

This is a great image for any Halloween project. As you can see, I decided to make a little gift bag. Perfect for lots of little treats...or one large treat.

Here is a closer look.

I made a cute little matching tag as well.

So do you like? I sure hope so. It was a lot of fun to make. So take some time out of your busy schedule and have some fun crafting. We would love to see what you come up with.

Pattie's Creations - Vintage Wedding Gown

It is Friday and I am home from a week of travels. Hopefully I will get well rested since I will be home for a couple of weeks this time.

I am here to share my DT inspiration for the challenge over at Pattie's Creations.

Theme: Vintage

Vintage is one of my favorite styles to design. I had some Wedding labels I got on clearance a while back so I decided to make a Bridal Shower Card.

This is one of my Tri Fold cards that I have designed and I use this template regularly.

Here is the inside and side of my card.
I use matching paper when I use this template as the paper will all show once the card is folded.

So get out your lace and pearls and anything else that creates a vintage flare and lets see what you come up with . Can't wait!

Pattie's Creations - Altered or Recycled Challenge

Happy Friday all! It is especially happy for me as it is my 22nd Wedding Anniversary. Wow! It is hard to believe that I have been married that long. He is a wonderful guy that supports my crafting hobby. He recently converted our Family room into my craft room and it is where I sit and create nightly!

While we are still the same people, we have "altered" just a bit from our wedding day. We are definitely older, a bit grayer and unfortunately a "few" pounds heavier. But we are wiser, we are parents and we are happy. So even though something may change, it many times is even better.

So with that in mind, I want to challenge you this week to play along over at Pattie's Creations.

Theme:  Altered or Recycled

The image I chose to work with is called Dog Days of Summer. I have created a link that takes you right to it. When I saw this image, it made me smile. Especially recently with the hot summer I have been enduring here in Arizona.

So I started out with a plain gift bag.

Kind of Blah right?

Well, this cute image sure does make a difference. I also added some paw prints and bones along with a sentiment that reads:  Anyone can be cool, but Awesome takes practice!

I will be delivering some cards tonight that I made for my Aunt, and they will fit perfectly in this cute little bag. I am sure she will get a kick out of it. She just moved to Arizona, so she will appreciate the "cool" sentiment.

Well, that is it for now!

I would like to enter my gift bag into the following challenges:

Pattie's Creation Challenge - For the Birds!

It's time for another challenge over at Pattie's Creations.

Theme:  For the Birds
Your creation must have a bird in it

It is Our Rule that you also include any Digital or Stamped Image on your creation!

For my creation I chose the image called Two-Can Love

I found some tropical looking paper in my stash so I decided not to cover it up too much for this card.
If you want to play, but don't have any images of birds, be sure to check out Pattie's ETSY Shop. She has a special section for all of her bird images.

Can't wait to see what you create~!

Pattie's Creations - Father's Day!

Happy Friday the 13th! It is time for another challenge over at Pattie's Creations. Now if you have not checked out her images, you really need to take a moment to do so. She has some fantastic digi's and it has been so fun creating with them.

This week our theme is Father's Day! Seems appropriate since we are just a couple of days away and I am sure that we are all making cards for the special men in our lives.

This image is called Fisherman's Delight.  My husband and son love to fish, in fact, they just got back from a fishing trip last night. So I thought this would be a perfect card.

So come along and play with us. We would love to see you use one of Pattie's images. There are a few freebies on her blog, so be sure and check that out.

Pattie's Creations - New Design Team

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a Fantastic Friday. I am here today to share some news. I am now part of the Design Team over at Pattie's Creations. My good pal Lisa over at Decosse's Dynamite Doodles told me they were looking for another member for the design team and that our obligation was only 1 card a month. I thought to myself, yes, that is something I can handle.

I love being on design teams for the actual designers. We typically get to choose what image we want to use and we get the images ahead of time...directly from source. With my job, I like to stay ahead with my DT obligations, so this works out well.

So now down to business...
Our challenge this week is Anything Goes. That is an easy first start. I chose to work with an image from my favorite flower...Sunflowers. I love love love sunflowers!

Thinking of You
The image is called Thinking of you and is available for purchase in her shop. You can click on the image to go directly to it.

The Ribbon and sunflower paper were from my stash. I used my Darice embossing folder to mat the image on. Fiskars punch to create the white picket fence.

Here is a closer look -
And matching sentiment for inside

So come along and play with us. We would love to see you use one of Pattie's images. There are a few freebies on her blog, so be sure and check that out.
