Pattie's Creations - Fall Colors

Boy times are getting busy....but not to busy to share a little challenge inspiration for our current challenge over at Pattie's Creations

Theme:  Autumn Colors

And they sure are popping up everywhere. For my inspiration this challenge, I am using a fun little image called Spooky Scarecrow.

This is a great image for any Halloween project. As you can see, I decided to make a little gift bag. Perfect for lots of little treats...or one large treat.

Here is a closer look.

I made a cute little matching tag as well.

So do you like? I sure hope so. It was a lot of fun to make. So take some time out of your busy schedule and have some fun crafting. We would love to see what you come up with.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Fun Handmade Thanksgiving Place Cards

When we think of thanksgiving, we think of family and friends gathering together to share a meal and reminisce about things we are thankful for. But before we can get to the point of "enjoying", there is a lot of preparation that goes into this day. One way to really make your friends and families feel welcome at the thanksgiving table is to set name place cards. These cards are typically little tents with your guests name on them. But this year, why not turn that Name plate into a keepsake.
Many hostesses like to send home a favor for each of their guests. This handmade card can be attached to a small box of treats that each guest can take home. Your guests will appreciate the thoughtfulness and  have a keepsake helping them to reminisce about the wonderful memories this years Thanksgiving has brought.
I had a lot of fun designing this card. You can find these at Taylor's Cards N Things. Would love for you to stop by.

I entered my Thanksgiving card in the following challenges:

I used:

  • Brown Card Stock for base of card
  • Recollections Card stock for printed paper
  • Rubber stamp " Scarecrow"
  • Sizzix die cut for Scarecrow mat
  • "Happy Thanksgiving" rubber stamp
  • Bows and Bling

Fun Card Folds

One of the best things about making your own cards is the ability to have unique folds. I love the tri- fold cards, it enables you to add more fun embellishments to add to the uniqueness of your card. I cut the second tri-fold in half to have a layered look. The pumpkin is matted by the scarecrow when folded, but still shows as part of the front card design. The matching envelope finishes off the card.

I entered my Fall Scarecrow card in the following challenges:

I used:

  • Tan Card Stock for base of card
  • Scarecrow stamp
  • G C D Card Stock for inside and outside layers
  • Embellishments: Leaves, button, raffia, pumpkin die cut
