Path of Positivity - Grateful

Time for my mid month inspiration card over at Path of Positivity. This will be my last post as part of the Design Team as I have decided to step down at the end of the month.

Our theme this month is Gratefulness, which seems appropriate since it is the month of Thanksgiving. Our sponsors this month are Scribbles Designs and Kitten Scraps. The image I used is called Maple leaf Doodle.

My decision to step down was not an easy one as this challenge is owned and run by a dear friend of mine, Lisa Decosse, from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles. I typically will stay on a team for about 6 months, but I have been on this one since February 2014.

I have enjoyed being part of this team and hope to continue to play along when I can.

But for you, there is still time to play along this  month and we sure hope you do!

Gratefulness

Hello and happy Monday. I should also be saying happy November.  It is the first Monday in November so that means we are starting another challenge over at Path of Positivity.

Our theme this month is Gratefulness, which seems appropriate since it is the month of Thanksgiving. Our sponsors this month are Scribbles Designs and Kitten Scraps.

I added a sentiment inside my card to match the overall theme.

Kitten Scraps was very generous in providing us some wonderful digital kits to work with. I used several images to create the picture frame of a Pilgrim Boy and Indian Girl.

This is the time of year that we all step back and take note of what we have to be grateful for. We hope that you join along and tell us or show us what you are grateful for.

Path of Positivity -Midway Poste - Resiliency

Hi everyone and happy Monday. I am here today to share my midway post for the challenge over at Path of Positivity. Our theme this month is Resilience.

Have you every thought about the effort a spider takes in weaving its web? Many people are afraid of these creatures and I am one of them, but if you take away the creepiness of the spider and step back and look at how beautiful their webs are, you can't help but be in awe.

Path of Positivity - Resiliency

Hello and Happy Monday. I am so happy that it is finally October! The mornings here in Arizona have finally started to cool down and I am enjoying the cooler weather.

We are starting another challenge over at Path of Positivity where our theme is Resiliency. The image I am working with is from Ike's Art and is called Vaguely Goth.

Our guest sponsors this month are Ike's Art and Stamping Boutique

I decided to make a mixed media canvas to showcase resiliency in being ones self. Sometimes people see us in a particular way, but it is important for us to become who we choose to be, not what we are expected to be. this takes resilience and dedication to ones self.

I hope that my mixed media canvas portrays a bit of who I am.

Hopefully you will have a chance to play along this month. We would sure love to see what you create.

Path Of Positivity - Determination

It is mid month and that means time for some more inspiration over at Path of Positivity.

Our theme this month has been dedication. I chose to work with this cute little image of a V.W. Bug from Sparkle N Sprinkle called VW Bug.

I have always loved Bugs. They just seem like the perfect fun car. Great for an adventure where anything is possible. You have to have dedication to your dreams for only you can make them come true!

If you have not linked up for our challenge yet, there still is time. We would love to have you play along and tell us what dedication means to you!

Path of Positivity - Dedication

September means cooler months ahead ( I hope) and the start of another challenge over at Path of Positivity. Our theme this month is dedication, so it will be fun to see all the write ups about this topic.

When I think about dedication, activities usually come to mind, sports, school, etc. But I rarely think about dedication to friendship. Something that can last through the years and endure change.  We are not the same people we were when we made some of our first friendships, but isn't it fun to know that there are long lasting friendships? Those are the best kinds!

Our sponsor this month is Sparkle N Sprinkle (SNS.) We will be working with their images all month long. I chose this fun one called Wine Friends.

Layering is one of my favorite card techniques and is what I did for my card above. I finished it off with a fun sentiment from Created with TLC.

With all of our challenges, you have a chance to win some fabulous prizes listed below:

PRIZES:

Sparkle N Sprinkle is the sole sponsor offering up:
  • $15.00 worth of digital images for the post or project that the DT deems most inspiring of the bunch.
  • $15.00 worth of digital images for a person chosen in a random draw based on all entrants.
There will also be:
  • One digital designer paper (made to order in a couple different ways) from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles for one lucky person who leaves a comment on posts published during the challenge timeframe.
  • One digital sentiment for every single person who enters the challenge.

We hope to see you play along!

The image I am working with is from Dee'Dee's Digi's and is called Lovin From my oven.

This is a fun set perfect for so many occasions! There are several fun sentiments to go along with this kit, but I created my own this time around.

There still is time to play along. Show us what Opportunity means to you. We would love to see what you create.

I don't know about you, but Coffee in the morning certainly helps in giving me the "Opportunity" to begin a productive day. Yes, I love my coffee! The fun coffee ribbon was purchased from So Suzy Stamps.

I saw this saying somewhere, so I decided to create a fun little sentiment to match my card.

Sharing and Friendship

Hi, I am back to share my mid month inspiration for the challenge over at Path of Positivity. Our theme this month is sharing and our wonderful sponsors are Freshly Brewed Designs and Limited Runs.

The image I am using is called share my ice cream and it is from Freshly Brewed Designs.

Share my Ice Cream
Ice Cream is always fun, but sharing with friends makes it even better.  Here is the fun sentiment I added inside:

So if you have some time, we would love for you to share your creations with us this month. Hope to see you there.

Path of Positivity - Sharing

Hello everyone. It is time to start another challenge over at Path of Positivity. Our theme this month is Sharing and our wonderful sponsors are Freshly Brewed Designs and Limited Runs.

Sharing is something we all learned in Kindergarten. It probably was much harder to do back then than it is now, but it is certainly an important lesson.  So today I am sharing a gift bag and matching card I made for my son's gift to his girlfriend. She is turning 18 this month so I sure hope she likes the little gift set. The gift is pretty nice too, but I don't want to blow that in case she stumbles upon my blog.

The image I use is called First Kiss and it is from Limited Runs. This is one I have had my eye on for a while, so I am happy to finally get my hands on it.

First Kiss
So if you have some time, we would love for you to share your creations with us this month. Hope to see you there.

Path of Positivity - Happiness

One of my very favorite movies is Pride and Prejudice, so I was extremely happy that I finally get to use one of the famous lines in one of my cards.

It is mid month over at Path of Positivity where our theme this month is Happiness.

Sponsor: Imagine That

I have used this set before and it is gorgeous. Lots of vibrant colors and super fun to work with. I decided to make this into a Parisian post card type card as Paris in the Summer is always something that makes me happy!

Pretty Peacocks Set

I also used a quote from my favorite movie Pride and Prejudice.

So if you have not linked up yet, there still is plenty of time. We would love to see your interpretation of Happiness.

Thanks for stopping by.

Path of Positivity - Happiness

Hi everyone! I am back with the start of another challenge over at Path of Positivity. Our theme this month is Happiness.

Sponsor: Imagine That

I can't think of anything happier than an open road and a sunset to chase. For many this is bliss.  We have 3 motorcycles in our house, the newest edition is a Harley! In honor of our newest family member I decided to create this card.

If you are a regular to our challenge, welcome back. If this is your first time I am so glad you found us. And for playing along, we have some wonder chances for prizes:

The sponsors and prizes for this challenge are:
  • A $10 gift certificate from Imagine That! Digis By Kris, one of our guest sponsors this month, for the post or project that the DT deems most inspiring of the bunch.

Path of Positivity - Perseverance

It is time for our mid month inspiration over at Path of Positivity. If you have not linked up there still is plenty of time. Our theme this month is perseverance and our sponsor is  Ike's Art and Deedee's Digis.

The image and sentiment I used are from a set over at Deedee's Digi's called "Congratulations Graduate." This set has gotten a lot of use this month as my son is graduation High School and I have been making party invites.

Education definitely does take perseverance. While he may not be as focused as I would like him to be right now (senioritis), he has worked hard over the last 4 years.

The set has lots of great sentiments enabling me to make many different versions of a graduation card. The paper is from a set over at Decosse's Dynamite Doodles called June Graduation Kit.

Our challenge runs all month long, so there is plenty of time to play. We would love to see you link up this month and share with us your meaning of perseverance.
