Creative Knockouts - Winter Wonderland

Hello and happy Thursday!  I am here today to share with you my very last card as a member of the Design Team over at Creative Knockouts.

Theme:  Winter Wonderland
Image:  Cocoa's Gift

It has been a fun ride over at Creative Knockouts, but it is time for me to step down, but not before I share with you my last card.

This image is called Cocoa's Gift and is a cute little Mouse popping out of  a gift package. I colored and fussy cut the image and stuck it right to my card stock. No decorative papers this time around.

I stamped the North Pole sign and some snowflakes and presents around the image to create my Winter Wonderland.

I hope I have inspired you to play along! I sure would love to see your version of a Winter Wonderland!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

It is that time again. Another challenge over at Creative Knockouts!

Theme:  Festive Flourishes

Doesn't this card make you want to grab a hot cup of cocoa and curl up next to a warm fire? The chill is in the air, but this will sure keep you warm. If you are not familiar with Sami stamps, you really should pop over and take a look. They are fun...fun...fun..! Lot's to choose from.

So we hope you take some time and play along. We would love to see what you come up with.

Creative Knockouts - Bling it Up!

I am here today to share my DT card for the current challenge over at Creative Knockouts!

Theme:  Bling it Up
Image:  Fancy Dress

This little girl is all decked out in her holiday dress, ready for shopping!
I wanted to make a special little Christmas card for my niece and I thought this image was perfect for that occasion.

Now even though this was not a "Christmas" image, you can see, it was very easy to transform her into a fun little Christmas Card.

But your card for our challenge does not have to be Christmas, just has to be blingy! so get out all those embellishments and lets see what you can do.

Creative Knockouts - Halloween

We only have a few more nights until Halloween night. We have been seeing such fun Halloween projects all month long. So please don't stop now because it is time for another challenge over at

You can click on the image below to take you right to this cutie!

Here is a closer look.

So there are still a few more days. Let's see what you can make using our theme "Halloween"!

Creative Knockouts - Use a Charm

It is that time again! We have a great challenge in store for you over at Creative Knockouts.

Theme:  Use a Charm
Sponsor: Lacy Sunshine.

Heather's images are always so fun to work with. This one was no exception.

I had this pink LOVE paper in my stash and she sure looks like a love child to me. It is funny how you can look at an image and just have a vision of where you want to go. I think this digi is quickly becoming one of my favorites!

If you can believe it, the tape o the side is actually printed paper. I found them on line and just love them! It was a great addition to this fun card.

I also decorated the inside of the card to match. The flowers were punched with two of my punched and completed my card with a charm. LOVE IT! If I do say so myself.

So what do you think? Have I inspired you to play? If I have, my job is complete!

Hope to see you over at Creative Knockouts!

Is Wine Drinking an Activity?

Happy Thursday!
Time for another challenge over at Creative Knockouts.
Theme:  Favorite Activity
Sponsor:  Bugaboo Stamps

I love working with Bugaboo images. So I was especially excited for this challenge. The image I worked with is called 'Glass of Wine a Day'.  And what a perfect image for a Wine Tag.

Such a fun image. I even had a punch to cut out a mini wine bottle. But there is nothing better than the REAL bottle of course.

So come on and play. We would love to see what your favorite activity is.

Birthday Celebrations

What happens when it is over 100 degrees outside and your air conditioning is running at full capacity? Your internet over heats and you don't have enough power to get an internet connection.

Well at least is that is the theory as to why the internet has been off all day. We finally unplugged and let cool down and now I have a connection. So I thought I better get my LATE post up before it goes out on me again.

Our sponsor over at Creative Knockouts this week is Sassy Studio Designs.
http://buysassystudiodesigns.blogspot.ca/
Our theme is Happy Birthday.  The image I created with this week is called Birthday Cake Sassy.

This will be a short and sweet post because my connection seems to be flickering on and off. Hopefully you have time to play along, and an internet connection that will allow you to do so, as we would love to see what you create.

Creative Knockouts - Friendship Bears

Happy Thursday!

Time for another fun challenge over at Creative Knockouts

Challenge #17
Sponsor:  Crafty Sentiments
Theme:  Friendship

I love making friendship cards. There are so many possibilities with them and I have so many great sayings.  This challenge also gave me an opportunity to start using some of my fall paper.

The image I got to work with is called "A Gentle Touch". Aren't these two little bears cute? So this is an easy enough challenge. Hope I have enticed you to play along.

Anybody for Baseball?

It is time for another challenge over at Creative Knockouts. Our theme this week is Child's Play and our sponsor is Inky Impressions. Now this is perfect, as my nephew turns 9 this month and I needed to make him a birthday card.

The image I chose to work with is called Baseball Nicholas. This image is perfect for a Summer birthday and what is more Patriotic than Baseball?

I used three different designer papers on my card, I wanted to make is whimsical...did I succeed? Of course I wanted to personalize it for my nephew, AJ, so I finished it off with his name.

And of course, I wanted to make sure he would always know this card was from his Auntie. This fun little image is from Ginger's House. One of her many freebies.

So what do you think? Want to play? I sure hope so. So come on over and play along,

It is time for another challenge over at Creative Knockouts! Our theme this week is "Embossing" and our sponsor is The Stamping Chef

We all need some R&R every once in a while, so here is a little card to celebrate that. I had a cute sentiment from Created with TLC  that fits perfect!

The stamping Chef has some cute, funny, sexy images. So many to choose from. Please be sure to check out our store as we love the support from our sponsors. I got to work with a fun image called "The Big Dripper". It is so fun!

My paper came embossed, so it was easy to work with for the them. I also just picked up some new washi tape that I was excited to use.

So get out those embossing tools and lets see what you can come up with. Can't wait!

Friendship comes in all Shapes and Sizes

It is time for another challenge over at Creative Knockouts! Our theme this week is "Die/Punch Frenzie" and our sponsor is A Day for Daisies.

I got to work with a cute little image called "lap kittens". It is so sweet, I just love it.

I decided that I wanted to make a friendship card. I have some really great sentiments in my sentiment stash that I have not used and I thought this would be a perfect time to try out a few.

I have never used bottle caps for my embellishments, but they were on sale over at Tuesday Morning, so this was a good chance to try them out. I think the BFF bottle cap works nicely with this Friendship theme'd card.

Friendship comes in all shapes and sizes...even little furry ones. So come along and play. We would love to see what you create with your dies and punches over at Creative Knockouts!

Creative Knockouts - Spring is in the Air

It is time for another challenge over at Creative Knockouts. Our Theme this week is "Spring is in the Air." Well...it certainly is. I have been working outside all week enjoying the lovely weather. That is one of the perks of working from home, I have an outside office.

Out Sponsor this week is Sweet n Sassy.

I contemplated this design for a while as I was not sure how I wanted to depict a Spring Scene. Ultimately I went with a black and white. This image was so tranquil, I wanted to create a picture perfect scene, hopefully I have accomplished that.

The sentiment inside reads:

Hopefully I have inspired you to play along. We would love to see you over at Creative Knockouts!

Creative Knockouts #30 Texturize It!

This week our theme is Texturize It! So we want to see creations with texture.
Our sponsor is Dilly Beans and they have some wonderfully fun images to create with.

I got to work with an image called River's Scarf this week. What a fun little image.

I have 3 sisters, so I always look for an opportunity to create sister cards. I know I will always need one on hand.  Once I did the scarf, I knew I wanted to go with a polka dot theme. I had a matching flower and arrow that worked perfectly.

So get out your craft items and lets see what you can Create this week with texture. We would love to see it!
