Path of Positivity - Laughter

Welcome February and welcome to another challenge over at Path of Positivity. Our theme this month is laughter. What a great theme don't you think.

Children are said to laugh a great deal more than adults. Why do you think that is? Do you think that they are happier than adults? Perhaps. They typically have less to worry about and can just enjoy life. They are not burdened with the day to day issues that adults face in life. But unfortunately not every child is this carefree. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if all the children laughed?

This fun image is from Meljen Designs and is called Brooke's Butterflies. I created the sentiment Smiles lead to laughter, as they often do. I hope that my card has brought a smile to your face.

Hello and Happy Sunday.

Ah it is so nice to be home again and playing in my craft room. I shant get too comfortable though as I am scheduled shortly to head back out to Portland again.

Well, so lets have some fun while I am in town and play along with this week's challenge over at

So For my inspiration this week I worked with a fun image called Big Sweater Kid.

Oh I just love this little guy, he looks all bundled up and ready for fall.

I have had this wonderful leaf paper since last season and finally got to play with it.  The sentiment is a popular Fall sentiment, I even have it in a stamp. This one is a freebie over at Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.

The foil leaves have been part of my stash for several years. I think I got them on clearance one year, I must have bought a lot of them as they never run out.

Send a smile 4kids - Guest Designer

It has been a busy month for me. I was asked to be a guest designer for three challenges this month! I am always so honored when asked, and want to participate regardless what I already have on my plate. So my first Guest Designer spot this month is over at Send a Smile 4Kids.

Their theme is Punches and/or Die Cuts this week, so bring out those tools.  To help support this challenge, they have three sponsors. Meljen's Designs is offering up 4 images, The Cutting Cafe' is offering up 3 digi or cutting files and Oak Pond Creations is offering up 1 digi of winner's choice.

For this challenge, I got to work with two images from Meljen's Designs. I have seen her images around the Challenge Neighborhood, but had not had an opportunity to work with any of them until now.

The first image is called Little Girl Bear Hugs.  I used my punches to make the yellow flowers and they matched the image's flowers perfectly. The sentiment is something I whipped up on my own. I didn't really want it to be a valentine, so I stuck with the theme of LOVE.

The second image I used is called Lil Rodeo Boy. The Die Cut I used is from Spellbinders and I embossed it with my Cuttlebug embossing folder called Hounds tooth.The sentiment was a freebie from Desert Diva
