Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!I am here today sharing my last project for the A2Z Scrapbooking design team. Life is so busy for me right now and something had to give.

The set I am creating with today is called Dress Up and it can be ordered along with many other Hero Arts stamps over at A2ZScrapbooking. It is a great set and can be used for so many occasions.

To turn this into a Halloween card, I cut out the dress with some Spider Web Paper and added some spiders using Remnant Rubs. To create the scene, I used other various Halloween images from the Tim Holtz Halloween Remnant Rub set.

Finally, I framed my card using a stitch boarder die and framed that onto the same spider web paper I used for the dress.

I hope you all have a Happy & Safe Halloween!

Thanks So Much!

Hello Crafty friends. It is Monday and my turn to share some inspiration using one of the sentiments from the Inspirational Plate #2 set over at I Brake for Stamps.

I have shared several cards this month using some of the wonderful sentiments from this set. It is a great set for everyday cards.

I decided this week to create a simple, yet elegant thank you card. Black and grey are always so classic and they make great cards.

I also added a sheer black ribbon to accent the bold "Thanks so Much" focal point.

This card is very simple to make enabling you to duplicate them with ease. You can easily create several to create as a set to give as a gift or to have on hand when you need to send out your own Thank You cards.

Holiday Wishes

Hello lovelies! I am here today sharing a card I created for A2ZScrapbooking. This set can be ordered over at the shop or you can browse the other holiday selections to find a great stamp set for your cards this year.

I know many of us mass produce Christmas cards over the holidays.  I wanted to share with you a simple holiday card that is easy to duplicate.

I am using a Hero Arts Christmas Tree set that has great layering stamps and a few traditional sentiments that would work great on your Christmas Cards.

I also using some washi tape, nuvo drops and some glitter past to add some finishing touches and fun embellishments.

Halloween Picture Frame - I Brake for Stamps

Hi everyone! It has been such fun sharing Halloween cards! But it is even more fun when you can create a Halloween card using a Non-Halloween stamp.  I created this frame using the Daisy background stamp from I Brake for Stamps along with some frame die cuts.

I knew I wanted to make a frame, but that was as far as I had gotten. I had a new container of Nuvo embellishment sitting on my desk, so I rubbed it on my stamp and tried to stamp with it. So here is a tip, you can't stamp with Nuvo Embellishment paste. But it did leave an impression on my cardstock in some areas, so I decided to stamp right over it using my Black archival ink. It was just enough to add some great color to my frame.

From there, it was just a matter of getting out my die cuts and creating my frame along with my pumpkin focal point.

As added embellishments, I added some of the Halloween clippings and numbers from the Tim Holtz idea-ology collection.

Correspondence - Thinking of you

Hi everyone! I am here today with my Monday share using stamps from I Brake for Stamps.  I wanted to create a Postale theme without actually creating a post card.

The postale marks in the left hand corner as well as the mini airplane are from the set Travel,Planes and Letters.  The sentiment is from Inspirational Plate #2 set.

I added some washi tape to a 4.25" x 5.5" card base then adhered a 4" x 5.25" piece of black card stock to it.  I cut out a piece of the red and white cardstock using a rectangular stitch die and a smaller piece to stamp my images.

As added embellishments, I added some round postale rub ons from 7gypsies.

Friday the 13th Video Hop - Halloween theme!

Hello friends! It is Friday the 13th and we thought it would be fun to put together a video hop to share with you some Halloween creations.

So I decided to create a No-Stamp Halloween card using some die cuts, ephemera and metal embellishments.

The Pumpkin Scene die is from tonic studios and is a perfect focal point. To see how I created this card you can click on my video below.

I had a few Halloween word bands left in my Halloween stash so I decided to use the "Bone Collector" word Band. It matched up perfect with the skeleton Halloween ephemera.

Don't forget to check out some of the other videos that are linked up over on my You Tube channel. I am sure they will get you into the Halloween spirit.

Witches in the night

Hello Crafty friends! I am here today to share with you another Halloween card using the Large Witch with Cat from I Brake for stamps.

I used Jet black archival ink to stamp my witch image as well as my Cityscape and utilized my Stamping platform for both. The cityscape is from the half sheet travel set.

The paper I used was a scrap piece I had from the Tim Holtz Laboratorie paper stash. It is an old set, but this design can be created using any of the many spider web stamps released this season.

To finish off the card, I matted the design onto black cardstock then onto some grey.

Stamplorations - October Sketch Challenge

Hello crafty friends. It is time for another sketch/theme challenge over at STAMPlorations. You can either follow the sketch or use our theme which is Two colors and stamps.

I have chosen to do both, but went very CAS this time. Completely NOT my style, but I am trying something out of my comfort zone.  I am using two stamps today,  True North and Do What you Love from the SAY IT BIG collection.

Because my inside was so CAS, I decided to also decorate the inside of my card. I had some printed paper that had some sale boats which was perfect for my theme.

Now while I only used two of the stamps from the True North set, there are several great ones in this set. Hope to see you over on our challenge!

Let the holiday card making begin!

Here are a few items that I have picked up already in preparation for my holiday card making.

If you are like me, you get irritated when you see the Christmas decorations and displays showing up in your stores too early. Let's face it, it is difficult to get excited about Christmas when we are still making our Halloween and Fall cards. Not to say I don't love the Christmas in July!

Now, if you create handmade items for the holiday season, then it is perfectly acceptable to start your crafty shopping early. Afterall, our handmade gifts and cards take time to create, so we need to ensure we have the latest products on hand to get our craft on!

While there are several companies that will be coming out with new releases for the holidays, I want to share with you some of my favorites. These are the products that I hope to be using to make my holiday cards and videos.  I hope to be able to give you lots of inspiration, but be sure to stock up early, as the holiday releases are usually limited, and once they are gone...they are gone!

I have listed the items that I have shared with you in the video below, but you can find more of the new releases over on my Coupons and sales page.

12 Months of Graphic 45 - October

Hi everyone! It is the beginning of the month and that means another card for my 12 months of Graphic 45.

For this month's card,I used a Fancy frame that I had in my stash from Spellbinders. I was unable to find the name of the die, but any die that cuts out a 5"x7" frame should work just fine!

If you would like to see how I created this card, you can check out my video below.

We only have 2 more moths left in this series. I hope that you have been enjoying my monthly series!
