Deflecto Storage Solutions

Hi everyone. I am here today to share with you this awesome new Stackable Caddy from Deflecto. There are so many things I love about this caddy, where should I start.

Well first of all, it is stackable. Like many of Deflecto's storage solutions, you can stack them. It is a great way to keep adding as more storage is needed. It is mobile. So you can organize your caddy's by product, theme, or whatever your heart desires and then transport as necessary.

The individual plastic containers are removable. So if you don't need the entire caddy, you can just remove what you need and then place back in the caddy for easy clean up after crafting.

Finally, it is compact. Two caddy's fit nicely on my shelf, which makes my storage that much more organized.

Believe me, this will be a purchase you will not regret!

Thanks for stopping by.

So Suzy Blog Leap...With Love...

In honor of Leap Year, the Design Team for So Suzy Stamps is having a "Blog Leap."  Now don't get scared off , a leap is pretty much like a hop...so I am sure you can handle it! LOL!!!

We are trying something new. You will be able to vote for your favorite DT card over at So Suzy Stamps blog. So don't forget to vote...for me of course! LOL!

Suzy pushed us out of our comfort zones for this "leap" so I decided to create a CAS card, which as you probably know, is totally NOT my style, but I gave it a shot. If you want to start at the beginning you can leap back to So Suzy Stamps.

If you have arrived from Shannon's link up, then you are in the right place. You have until March 3rd to leap through everyone's post. The winner will be announced on March 6th.

I love the simplicity of this stamp, which is called "Wedding Cake." It was the perfect size to fit into this ornate die cut frame.  I wanted the back to have some sort of highlight, so I used my new stenciling brushes to brush on some black soot distress ink. It is subtle, but gave it exactly the shadow affect I was looking for.

Your next leap is to Janis's blog.  Be sure that you are leaving a comment on every leap so that you can be eligible for the prize. And don't forget to vote for your favorite card go hopping over to the Voting page!

Have fun and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Mail!

Happy Mail time! So when Suzy asked her Design Team for some stamp suggestions guess who asked for this one? Yea that's right...THIS GIRL did. I love the Happy Mail stamp! Why do you ask? Well DUH! It's because we all love happy mail.

Now, not only do I love to get happy mail, but I also love to send happy mail. Now I have a great stamp to use on the outside of my envies!

Now what better design to use with the happy mail stamp than some Postale paper and stickers. The paper stack and stickers are from 7gypsies "Journey Collection" and is called "Postale."

I used several stamps on this card including the Bi Plane stamps and Happy Mail stamp from So Suzy Stamps. For a complete listing of all the items I used, please see the list below.

Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome Home!

It is day two of our first ever blog hop with DieNamites and So Suzy Stamps. We hope you have had fun hopping along. Now if you missed the post yesterday you may want to go back and visit everyone's post from Day 1 of the Hop. But if you need the link for Day 2, you can start from the beginning as well there.

You should have just come from Henryka Kowacz's page where I am sure you found a wonderful project. For my project, I am using the die cut called "House." I thought this would make a great housewarming card or invite. The sentiment "Four letter word" from So Suzy Stamps would work great inside and is currently on sale in the retiring section.

The So Suzy Stamp I used for this card is "Hello Friend" and is a wonderful all around stamp.

Your next stop is Mitsyana Wright's page where I am sure you will find a wonderful creation. Be sure to leave a comment on everyone's page to show your support!

Thanks so much for playing along!

A Winter's Day - Riley & Company

Hello crafty friends. I am back to share with you my card for the Design Team challenge over at Riley and Company. Kendra has challenged us to create a Winter scene.  For some of you I know this is a familiar site.

I recycled a Christmas card for the background of this card. It made the perfect winter scene. The image is from the Riley Collection called Shoveling Snow Riley.

Don't forget that Stamper's Ink now offers a monthly kit. You can find more information by clicking on the Tickle My Funny Bones Card Club link.

12 Tags of 2016 - February

Hey everyone! I might be late to the party...but I am here. This is my first tag this month in Tim's 12 months of tags series.

I have vowed to make every tag this year, even if I have to go back a month to catch up. I know it is too late for January, but I plan to still make use his January technique and put a tag together for my collection.

I love the February tags as they always center around romance. I used 3 stencils on this tag as well as some texture paste which you can find in my etsy shop.

I stamped the Whimsy Tree and Hope sentiment using my Misti. The Washi tape is a new purchase from The Paper Studio the hope and faith cardstock stickers are from Pebbles called Dictionary Quotes.

Love is...Subway Art

I love Subway Art! It is fun and makes great decor for any room.  Deflecto has a fun Craft frame that is very feminine and works great for February projects!

The frame measures 8 1/2 in. x 11 in. and has a fun pink border. I framed my Subway Art onto some fun pink designer paper and decorated the outside of my frame with washi tape, pearls and paper flowers.

What is great about this frame is that my Art slips in and out very easily, enabling me to re use this decorated frame for many other occasions.

Craft Frame
8 1/2"x11" - Pink

The subway art, Love is Patient was found on Pinterest. I have included the link to the page for this fun freebie.

If You Love something...

Ahh, February! The month of Love. Joy has challenged the Riley & Company  Design Team to create a non traditional Valentine's Day card.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for romance, but when you have been married as long as I have, you will find out that humor is just as important.

This funny bones sentiment is called If you love something. I stenciled the background and added some cute little hearts throughout.

A Dream is a Wish...

Hi Friends! It is the month of Love! You are going to love some of the new stamps released this month over at So Suzy Stamps! But wait. Not only are we releasing new stamps, but Suzy now has her own line of inks as well as a Spanish collection.

Now I know that the Wishing Well stamp is NOT new, but it is new to me. So with the theme of LOVE this month, I thought it would be a great time to re share this wonderful stamp!

I also used the Judy Garland sentiment that worked so well with our Love theme this month. I wanted to keep that Vintage feel that I love so much, so I made sure to keep with the brown town in stamping as well as my embellishments.

I know we all recognize this sentiment. It is from one of my favorite fairy tales Cinderella. It combines both wishing and dreaming, which is the overall message I wanted this card to hold.

I have made a list of the items I have used on this card below. Some items are from my general stash, and I have indicated those as well.

Thanks for stopping by!

Inks: Adirondack Earthtones - Ginger
Paper: DCWV Tattered Time Mat Stack, Industrial Chic
