Passport to Love - Guest Designer

Hi everyone! We released our passport to love kit on Janruary 14th. If you missed that post, you can find it here. Today I am featuring another project from guest designer Angela Fitzsimmons.

Passport to Love

Angela created some beautiful projects with this kit. Fist up is the min composition book. This is so lovely and would make a great little diary.

This note holder is so precious. It would be perfect sitting on your desk and so functional as well.

Finally, this fun little Valentine Card. Angela used not only the designer paper from the passport kit, but the retro Valentine image set as well.

Passport to Love - Valentine kit release

Hi everyone! With exactly a month before Valentine's Day, I decided to do a special mid month release for a brand new digital kit called Passport to Love. This kit is perfect for Valentine's Day or any occasion for Love and is now available in the shop.

Passport to Love

I created this passport card and added a metal element along with a beautiful pink bow.  This kit has some beautiful ephemera as well.

You can check out my process video below.

This paper was so beautiful, I decided to create not only a passport card, but a passport book. While this kit is a digital download, I decided to print out several pages of my kit and create an embellishment kit to create not both projects below. You can find the digital kit as well as the printed kit over in my shop.

The design team has been busy with this kit as well so let me share with you their creations.

Marcia from the Frolicking Fairy created this cute Pocket envelope and matching card set. This is a perfect set for a Valentine's Day gift. I am sure some jewelry would fit nicely in that beautiful pocket envelope.  Be sure to check out Marcia's details for this project over on her blog.

Robin from Granninista is sharing this beautiful envelope card with us today. This is a fun unique project. Be sure to check out the details to his project over on her blog.

Nancy created this gorgeous tag. I just love all the layers. It has such a soft romantic feel. Be sure to check out the details over on her blog The Nickel Nook

Next up we have Wendy sharing this beautiful layout. What a beautiful scrapbook page to spotlight a great picture. You can find more details over on her blog made by Wendy Bellino.

Next is Alina. Alina used my signature design and created a fun passport card. Be sure to check out her blog to see how using the same design comes up with a completely different look to her passport card.

And finally we have Aly.  Aly created this beautiful tag. I love how she cut out the words to create her sentiment. Be sure to check out the details to her project over on her blog.

Love Potion Formula

He friends! I am here to share with you my Love Potion Valentine's Day card using the Stampers Anonymous Stamp set called Laboratorie.

Now this by no means is a new stamp set, but I love it because there are so many possibilities with it. Of course it is great for Halloween, but the Apothecary them can also translate into a "Love Potion" design as well. And we all know that Love potions are great for Valentines's Day.

For my complete process, be sure to check out my video below.

Not everyone loves the frilly Valentine Cards, so this one is perfect for those "no frill" Valentines, but still gets the message across.

I used 3 dies for this design. One of the new dies in my stash is the Lawn Fawn Lift Tab set. I added the Sizzix pocket die under the lift tab to house all my love potions that I will be creating.

The pocket is so fun and perfect to hold all of my love potions as well as my ingredients for my spell.

Thanks for stopping by.

Valentine Love Notes

With Christmas now behind us, I am starting to think about Valentine day projects. I was excited to try out one of my new die cuts from the Eileen Hull collection which is a little pocket die that holds a little note card.

The set not only comes with a pocket die and note insert, but it also has 5 dies to create the flower and leaves along with an additional die for the corner tabs.  These corner tabs work great for the corners of your journals or to hold photos as I did on my card.

To see my process, you can check out my video below.

This die set is not only great for my valentine cards, but I think it will be perfect for birthdays, anniversaries or any occasion where you want to add a cute little note.

I also had a little stamp set that worked great for the message on the note tag. A handwritten note would be great as well.

I also found that the pockets are the perfect size for the Tim Holtz Flashcards. I also plan on using this die for some of my passport books as well. It is a cute little set that I know i will get a lot of use out of.

Thanks for stopping by!

Love is a Kiss!

Hello everyone! I am seeing Valentine's Day projects popping up everywhere so I definitely wanted to get in on the action.

One of my favorite collections over at I Brake for Stamps is their "Photo" stamp collection. These are rubber stamps that when stamped look like vintage black and white photos. You can either leave them black and white or color them up as I have.

This is such a cute little image and is great for Valentine's Day! It is called "Love is a Kiss". I chose to focus on the two little children and colored them up with my copic colors.  I left the background black and white so that my image would pop!

These photo stamps are so easy to use and are quick to mass produce when you are creating the black and white design. Be sure to check out the other images in this line. I am sure you will love them as much as I do.

Don't forget you can get 10% off your purchase over at I brake for stamps using my coupon code SAVE10MONCA.

Non Traditional Valentine Sentiment

With just a couple of days before Valentine's Day, I wanted to share with you a card I made for my husband of 25 years. I always try to find the perfect sentiment and try not to just say "Happy Valentine's Day."

This sentiment is from Tim Holtz and is a great sentiment for someone you have been with for a while. With any relationship, you will have ups and downs, the trick is to have more ups than downs!

I created a video to share with you some inspiration on creating layered cards, so I hop you give it a peak. Don't forget to subscribe to my channel if you haven't done so yet.

The paper I am using is from Graphic 45. I have created links to all the products that I used to create this card for your convenience.

I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day. Thanks for stopping by!
