News of Spring

Hi everyone! I decided to pull out my ephemera today to play in the challenge over at Simon Says Stamps. The them is "Layer it up", so I did.

I am using some of my new Spring ephemera from the Tim Holtz collection called Layers Botanical along with some additional pieces from K&Company. Here is a closer look.

I created the stain glass using some Lindy's Magicals. They were a lot of fun to work with, but boy did my fingers get dirty.

I finished it off with a sentiment from Graphic 45.

Did you know I started a new blog called "The Daily Enabler?" This is a site where I will compile ongoing Steals and Deals as well as coupon codes. I am also working on a comprehensive list of on line Craft Stores. Be sure to check it out.

Thanks for stopping by!

Creating your own ephemera

Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the last few days of 2016. I decided I needed to make one more video before the end of the year and of course I wanted it to be a celebration of the new year and month that is just around the corner.

The paper I am working with is from Graphic 45 and is called Time to Flourish. I picked it because it had some great words and sentiments on one side and some vibrant images on the other.

I love creating layered cards and ephemera works great for this technique. But sometimes you can't find the exact ephemera that you want for your design.  So I decided to create a video to show you how I create my own.

To see how I created this card, click on the link above. This can work with any cardstock that has great vibrant images.

I hope everyone has a Happy Holiday Season and rest up for the new year. I am really looking forward to 2017!

For your convenience, I have provided a list of all the items I used to create this card.

Thanks for stopping by!

7 Days of Halloween - Day 3

It is Day 3 of my 7 days of Halloween Series. Today we will be making a bloody background to house our scary ephemera from VectoriaDesigns. If you have never visited this shop, you are missing out!

She has some wonderful printables that work great for paper crafting!

I created this bloody background using a stencil from Stamplorations and some distress paint.
To see how I created this card, I have provided you with a link to my You Tube Channel.

One lucky person will win all 7 cards that I am creating this week. Watch my video to find out what you need to do to be placed in a drawing which will be held on September 30th

I would like to share my card with the following challenges:

7 Days of Halloween - Day 2

Hi and welcome back to day 2 of my 7 days of Halloween series.

Today I have created a background using coordinating washi tape. This set is from Tim Holtz Halloween collection. This technique can be used with any coordinating washi tape and is a fun background.

I have decorated the card using Halloween ephemera from the Tim Holtz collection called Curiosities.

I have created a link to my video so you can see just how this card was created. Don't forget to subscribe and leave a comment over on my You Tube channel to be placed in a drawing on Sept 31st to win all 7 cards created in this series.
