Goodbye 2021

Thank You for a Great Year

As we sit here and wait for 2022, I can't help but have immense gratitude for my followers and crafty friendships I have made along the way. This Challenge blog just finished it's first year and it has been great fun enjoying all of your projects. I also appreciate all the support you have given me and my shop, taylormadecards4u.com

I have had great fun this week hosting my YouTube lives. This has been a wonderful week off and I have enjoyed having my crafty afternoon sessions. If you were not able to join the live session, be sure to check out the replays.

We had great fun using some of our Christmas Stash to create Valentine Cards.

We took a trip to Paris with our passport to Paris card. I have 5 kits in the shop for this fun card, so be sure to grab one before they are all gone.

We created this cute little Valentine Journal book. I have one kit left, so don't hesitate if you want to create one of these little books.

And finally, I shared with you this fun Valentine Design where the recipient will have to break open the was seal to discover their Valentine Message.

As a special thank you, I am offering an end-of-year coupon to the shop. This is good for any product in the shop, digital or physical. Take $5 off any purchase of $25 or more using coupon code IDESERVE5. This coupon is good until January 7th, 2022

I hope you all have a wonderful New Year celebration. We will have a new challenge starting tomorrow, I hope you all have a chance to join in!

With much Love and appreciation.

Creating your own ephemera

Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the last few days of 2016. I decided I needed to make one more video before the end of the year and of course I wanted it to be a celebration of the new year and month that is just around the corner.

The paper I am working with is from Graphic 45 and is called Time to Flourish. I picked it because it had some great words and sentiments on one side and some vibrant images on the other.

I love creating layered cards and ephemera works great for this technique. But sometimes you can't find the exact ephemera that you want for your design.  So I decided to create a video to show you how I create my own.

To see how I created this card, click on the link above. This can work with any cardstock that has great vibrant images.

I hope everyone has a Happy Holiday Season and rest up for the new year. I am really looking forward to 2017!

For your convenience, I have provided a list of all the items I used to create this card.

Thanks for stopping by!

New Years Cards!

Happy New Year! Oh wait, I guess it is a bit pre mature to say that. Well, I have been working on New Years cards, so I guess I am that mindset.

The Stamping Boutique is having a challenge and the theme is New Years cards, so I thought I would play along.

This is one of my favorite images from Kenny K. The image is so versatile, perfect for any celebration card. I found these cute little Martini embellishments at Tuesday Morning. I come across the best finds there. The ribbon I had in my stash, again found at a thrift store. I love when I have cute embellishments to go with my cards.

I even found a cute sentiment for the inside. I don't make too many New Years Day cards, but it is fun to have a few on hand!

Thanks for stopping by!

613 Avenue Create - Celebrate New Year

Hi everyone! I am here today to share my DT card for the challenge over at 613 Avenue Create.

Theme:  Party Time
Sponsor: Sassy Studios

Originally I was going to make a Wedding card, but then I saw this image called "Steampunk Sassy Victoria" I decided to go with a New Years Card. I have been working hard on my Christmas Cards, but have not started on my New Years ones yet.

This is such a fun image, I enjoyed bringing her to life. I new I had some fun purple and black paper that  would work great for a New Years Card.

So what do you think? Ya wanna play? I sure hope so. See you over at 613 Avenue Create!

Bit by the Bug Beginnings Another Bug is Born

The design team over at Creative Bug on the Loose is well rested and ready for the New Year! It is Thursday and that means it is time to head over to Creative Bug on the Loose to check out the release of a new Digi image.

I would like you to meet Twigs!
Twigs is a new Digi image added to the snowman collection over at Creative Bug Digitals.  You don't want to miss out on adding this cute little guy to your CBD collections.

I decided to go with a New Year theme. I saw this Easel card layout..somewhere and decided I would give it a try.

The paper is from Stampin Up, snowflakes are from Recollections (70% off after Christmas sale) as well as the gems. I used a stamp from my Fiskars, Holiday Hooplah collection.

Now, how would YOU like the opportunity to win a copy of this new release?

Creative Bug on the Loose is having a draw to win a copy of TWIGS. To find out what you need to do, make sure you head over to the blog and follow the directions that have been laid out.

Don't miss this exciting opportunity. Head over to Creative Bug on the Loose Now!

I've caught the bug,

New Year's Eve 2013

It is the last day of the year. I remember when I was younger, the years seemed so long, and now they seem so short. I plan on having a quiet New Years Eve, spending it with family and probably just watching movies. We wanted to go snow boarding on the 2nd, but appears there is not enough snow up at Mount Lemmon, so I guess that will not be happening this year.  Oh, well, I guess I will just have to play in my playroom.

I wanted to share with you my very first card I made using my new Chromatix markers I received for Christmas.
So far I really like them, so I guess you will be seeing more cards in 2014 using these babies.

This is a fun image I purchased from Bugaboo stamps. The sentiment is from Created with TLC, and I think works great together. I hope that everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!
