Creative Bug Digitals - Mid Month Post

We are mid way through the month. What a great time of year, the colors are so beautiful this time of year, so we wanted to bring some of those colors into our challenge this month. This is our very last challenge over at Creative Bug on the Loose, I sure hope you can play along!

Theme: Fallen Hues Colour Challenge

It is exactly a year since I joined the design team over at Creative Bug Digitals.  Like all good things, this too must come to an end. I sure hope you like my final card.

This image is called Petrified Pumpkin and is available by clicking on the image below.

I had some fun with this card. I pulled out some of my mixed media supplies and added some grunge to it. I used a stencil along with textured paste and distressed sparkle. I even added some copper glitter to give a speckled affect.

Creative Bug Digitals - Color Challenge

A new month means a new challenge over at Creative Bug on the Loose. This month we are going with a color challenge. 

Theme: Fallen Hues Colour Challenge

The image that I worked with this month is called "Fall is Here."

There are great colors to work with in the Fall months. If you have been following me, you know I love the vintage feel, and many of the fall colors are used to create a vintage look.

If you have been playing along, you know that our challenge no longer requires you to use a CBD image, but we sure would love it if you do. We want to see any of your creations using the colors above.

This month we want to see a fall themed creation featuring a minimum of three colors from the Designs Seeds palette shown above. 

Prizes for this challenge are:

• Five digital images from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for a person chosen in a random draw based on all eligible entrants.
• A top three will also be chosen (as long as there are a minimum of seven people entering).  Each person in the top three will also get to choose an image from the store.
• A guest spot for January.  A name will be drawn randomly from among those that indicate an interest.

Creative Bug Digitals - Midway Post #6

My year is passing me by so fast, I can't believe it is already mid October. I have been traveling so much, I have hardly had time to craft, but I did fortunately have time to put together a mid way post to inspire you over at  Creative Bug on the Loose.

Theme:  Goose Bumps

Now we have had 6 entries so far, which makes us very excited! we are so glad that you have stopped by to play along! We Love to see your wonderful creations! My inspiration for you this week is with a cute little image called Halloween Scene.

I decided to make a an easel card. I have not made one of these in a while, so I thought this was a great opportunity to showcase this fun image.

Can you believe it is October? Where has the year gone. But another month means another challenge over at 
 Creative Bug on the Loose.

Theme:  Goose Bumps

Now I know that you all need some Halloween cards, so this is a perfect opportunity to get some completed. As a reminder you are no longer required to use a Creative Bug Digital SnapShot image in your project. Of course we would love it if you did, but we just want you to play along!

For my inspiration, I have made a fun card using Spinning out of Control.  Just perfect for a Halloween Card!

The sentiment is from a sticker set from Momenta I got over at Tuesday Morning. I just love that store!

For my inspiration, I have made a fun card using Malia Manchester.  He is still available as a freebie so click on his picture which will take you right to the store.

Creative Bug Digital SnapShots Challenge - Challenge # 5 - Child's play

We are back well rested and ready for another challenge over at Creative Bug on the Loose.

Theme:  Child's Play

Now to start our new Challenge, we have a new rule, you are no longer required to use a Creative Bug Digital SnapShot image in your project, but we would sure love it if you do. As an extra incentive, if you do use a CBD image you can enter as many cards/projects as you like, otherwise you are limited to three entries.

For my inspiration, I have made a fun birthday card using Playmate Pablo. I plan on sending this along with a few other cards to "Cards for Hospitalized kids". Hopefully this will brighten someone's day.

Signs of Summer - Mid Month Post Creative Bug Digitals

Signs of Summer - Challenge #4 Creative Bug Digitals

 

It is a new month and that means a new challenge over at  Creative Bug on the Loose. Our theme this month is "Signs of Summer." I am in Arizona and the Heat is definitely is a sign of summer.  But there are so many other signs, butterflies, flowers, and frogs ribbiting in the ponds. Those frogs remind me of summer camping, so that is where I got my inspiration this month!

The image I chose to work with is called Frogalicious. What a great name huh? It is available along with many other wonderful images over at Creative Bug Digital Snapshots.

I added the sentiment from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles for a perfect fit. I used various card stock from my stash, punched out a few butterflies, added a few buttons and some washi tape and here is my finished product-
