Riley and Company - Life is a Journey

It is the last day of March, where is our year going? Well, hopefully you have been playing along in our challenges over at Riley and Company. If not no time like the present.

Theme: More than 1 fold
Store: Riley & Company
Sentiment:  Life's Journey

This is one of my own designs, and I have used it often. I love the snarky little saying that Riley & Company has. They are so fun and make great cards.

Here is the front of my card. I thought this image worked great with this fun saying. It is a perfect sentiment for a birthday card, and that is what I decided to make.

I am sure this will give someone a great laugh on their special day.

Now if you would like to play along, of course we would love to have you! To play, you must use a Riley & Company image in your project.

If you upload your card to Splitcoast Stampers, please include the keyword Riley 0715. Don't forget to visit the other Riley & Company Design Team's cards on their blogs as well:

613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes

It is an anything goes challenge over at 613 Avenue Create this week. So No excuses not to play along. Our sponsor this week is the wonderfully talented Rick St. Dennis.

Theme:  Anything Goes

I got out my distress inks and stencil this time around and put together this wonderful background. I used some texture paste to give some texture to the card and used my daubers to add the color.

Here is a closer look at this little girl. You can tell she is very fashionable!

The sentiment is from Created with TLC.

I even put some fun designer paper on the back of the card. (OK so I had to cover up some ink smudges.)

So get out those supplies and lets see what you can come up this week for our anything goes challenge!

Spring Easter Basket

It is nice to be home again! I have to admit the Portland 70's is nice, but the rain is so gloomy.  Back to the Sunshine and my blooming flowers.

So Since I have been MIA - I thought I would post a quick Easter card to share some Spring happiness.

This is a rubber stamp I have had forever. There are so many details to color, but it always comes out so beautifully.  I matted it using a paper doily and added some ribbon and gems.

Hope it brings a smile to your face!

So Suzy - Fabulous

I am here today to share another one of So Suzy's Stamps that was released this month.

Sentiment: Fabulous

This little girl is all bundled up and she looks like she is ready for winter doesn't she? I thought it would be fun to create a little snow scene with her.

She is a little Greeter to welcome you to the North Pole. I also stamped a little snowman in the background and added several snow flakes to create this Fabulous scene.

The So Suzy Stamp collection has so many wonderful word sayings. they are small enough that they work perfectly on the fronts of many of your cards. If you have not checked out her stamps yet, this is a great time.  We still have our water color challenge going on where you can win a gift certificate to purchase some of these fun stamps. Remember you must use a So Suzy Stamp to enter.

By the way, you can now follow me on Facebook and Twitter. Join me there for more fun and inspiration!

Party Animal

Hi all! Time to start another challenge over at Cornish Heritage Farms. If you have not had a chance to play along, now is your chance, because this theme is an easy one.

Theme: Birthday
Image: Birthday Dog
Store: CHF

This was such a fun card to make. This cute little dog looks like he is enjoying his party. I had these cute little paws and bones in my stash and they worked perfectly for this card.

So do you want to play along?  We would love to have you.

to play you must use a CHF image. You can use either a CHF digi or rubber stamps to create a card or project. You can even use older stamps.

If you upload your card/project to Splitcoast Stampers, please use the keyword CHF75. We can't wait to see what you create.

Don't forget to check the Cornish Heritage Farms Design Team's cards on their blogs as well.

Imagine that - Pretty Peacocks!

Hello all! I know I have not been around lately and am barely able to keep up with my DT assignments let alone any extra crafting. But I did want to take a moment to post my monthly card for the progressive challenge over at Imagine That!

The image set we got this month is called Pretty Peacocks and it is just awesome!  The images are beautiful and the colors are so vibrant. I added the sentiment "You're simply Amazing" to the bottom of the image and founds some fun colorful designer paper to compliment this beauty!

I added a birthday sentiment that was also offered in the set. So many wonderful sentiments to choose from, this can be used for many occasions.

This is one of the only progressive's that I currently participate in, but hope to join some more as soon as work slows down. If you have not joined in as of yet, perhaps this set will get you inspired.

Thanks for stopping by!

Crafter's Cafe - Colors of the Season

Happy Wednesday, although it is not so happy for me. This is my last challenge as a DT member over at Crafter's Cafe.  I have been on this team a little over a year and it is time for me to move on.

I have been on several design teams over the last year and I have decided to scale back a bit so that I can pursue other creative outlets I have been neglecting.

Theme: Colors of the Season
Image:  Fore You

Our challenge this month is color of the season. Living in Phoenix we don't have our typical winters. We are fortunate that way and we have had our spring flowers out for a bit.

We live right on a golf course, so I though this would be a fun image to work with. So cute right?

So share with us your colors of the season. We would love to see them.
