I am excited to be part of this awesome challenge! The theme this month is LOVE. Well seems appropriate since it is the month of Love. Love is described as one of the greatest emotions of all. It can have so many different meanings. It is an emotion that can start out small and continue to grow for years and years, and change along the way. It is probably one of the most difficult emotions to describe because it can mean so many different things.
I have started this post and come back to it many times as I wanted to think about what LOVE means to me. It always comes back to family! My son said to me some time ago that his "family" is of the minority as many of his friends families are divorced. I told him that marriage is hard, but it is something that his father and I believe in and do not take lightly. We were friends first and have always tried to work through our problems rather than "bail out." There has always been LOVE, so it was always worth it.
We chose to have one child as we wanted to give him the best opportunities possible. He will be 17 this month and boy have these past couple of years been interesting and sometimes tough. It is so hard for a mother not to try and shelter their children and help them to avoid pain and mistakes. But it seems that he has learned best through those mistakes and that has to be the strongest Love of all to be able to step aside and allow that.
Our Sponsor this month is Scribbles Designs. The image I chose to work with is called "Carl I heart you" and the sentiment is from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles
As always, we have some amazing prizes:
- Ten digital images from Creative Bug Digitals for the person out of the top seven who receives the most votes during the voting week.
- Three digital images from Ike's World for the post or project that th eDT deems most inspiring of the bunch.
- Three digitals images from Scribbles Designs, our guest sponsor this month, for a person chosen in a random draw based on all entrants.
- One digital design paper from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles for one lucky voter who leaves a comment.
- One digital sentiment for every single person who enters the challenge from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles as well.
None of this would be possible without our sponsors. Please pop over and check out their work if you have a chance. They would love for you to say hi.
So what does LOVE mean to you? I hope that you take some time this month to join us over at Path of Positivity and share a story or thought...along with a project if you so desire.

So happy to have you officially part of the team and what a great first post as a full fledged team member.
ReplyDeleteThe elusive concept of love....hmmm, so much can be said because as you say, there are so many interpretations of what love is, and how people express it. You are very lucky to have a family that you can shower in love and your husband and son are lucky to have you in return.
Your card turned out beautiful. I love that background paper and that you fussy cut Carl out. Great folded heart as well! Thanks so much for joining our PoP family. We are truly blessed to have you!
Hugs,
Lisa
