DREAM - Pop up card

Hi everyone! I am back again this week sharing another design using one of the Pop a top dies from THE STAMP DOCTOR.  

Pop up cards are always so fun and they are great cards to display! I decided to create a Spring floral card with a simple message. I used Pop-a Top Eighteen, the large bow die and the stamp set called Arrow Words 1

  
I started with an A2 card and scored it at 5.5" and 2".  I then adhered some designer paper that measured 5" x 4".  Once the paper was adhered, I scored it at 2".

I found that having the 2" score line worked well for me to line up the Pop up die. I placed the two edges of the pop up die in the middle of the 2" score line. 

After I ran it through my big shot, I folded back the 2" scored line and the middle piece popped right up.  I then die cut the bow using some coordinating card stock.

I used the shape of the pop up die for my sentiment and stamped it using my stamp platform and Jet black archival ink.

I added some coordinating card stock to the inside of my card and adhered the sentiment using some foam tape. This popped up the sentiment so the top part of my card could be displayed as an easel card.

Over the Hill - THE STAMP DOCTOR

Hi everyone! I am here today sharing a couple of cards I created using the set called Over the Hill Vintage Stamps. These cards were so easy to put together I was able to get two birthday cards created in no time. 

Let me show you what I did.

I first cut out some birthday theme'd cardstock. Since I was making a "Vintage" theme card, I stuck with the brown and beige tones.

I also used the die called Large Bow Die. I cut that on some coordinating cardstock and also cut a strip of the same paper. 

I adhered the strip towards the bottom of my cardstock and popped up the bow with some foam tape. 

I then stamped my sentiment  on some lighter brown cardstock using brown ink. I rounded the edges and adhered the sentiment just above my bow.

The stamp set had two other great sentiments that also worked well for the inside of my cards!

Shaker Easter Card

Hello friends! I am here today sharing a shaker card using some fabulous Easter paper from THE STAMP DOCTOR. The Easter Egg paper was so cute, i decided to cut it up and use the eggs in a shaker card.

There are also several other small dies that would work great for shaker cards as well. I was able to use the small egg die to add add some additional eggs that coordinated with my paper. 

I had several pieces of coordinating cardstock to choose from, but I ended up going with the blue and green plaid.  I did cut out some eggs using this cardstock as well.

I created a frame and added some acetate for my window  I then added some foam tape around the edges.  

I was careful to add my eggs and some coordinating sequence to create a fun Easter card.
