Riley and Company November Release - Inspiration Week

The Riley and Company Design Team are celebrating the new stamp release by bringing you .....

Inspiration Week with the Design Team

all week the Design Team will be sharing creations they have made using the new stamps.

There are 17 Funny Bones stamps and 9 Inspiration stamps.  These stamps are available to purchase on the Riley and Company website on Friday 13th November!

For my first card I am sharing a card using one of the inspirational sentiments called "LIfe holds a Special Magic.

The Riley image is called Bundle of Joy.

Welcome Baby!

I don't often get the opportunity to make baby cards, but when my cousin and his wife had their third baby boy, I jumped on the occasion!

If you follow me, you probably have seen these passport cards before. They are by far my favorite type of cards to make. My very first one was a Santa Passport, and then I just started creating travel passport cards and now I find I am making them for many occasions. Crafting is about progression after all.

Here is the inside of the card.

I found these cute little stickers at the $1 store. After I made this one, I had to go back and buy some more. This child stamp has gotten a lot of use through the years!

 I wanted the parents to be able to write in their baby passport book, so I created a little pull out card for my wishes for baby..

She's Expecting!

You know what is great about card making? Well, you can make a card for any occasion and if you are lucky, you have all you need right in your craft room

One of my work friends is expecting and I have been wanting to get her a "She's expecting" card and if I wait much longer, it will be a "Welcome Baby: card.

So I put this together last night and got it in the mail today. So I just wanted to do a quick post to share. I sure hope she likes it!

Path of Positivity Challenge #10 - midway post - Generosity

Hello! It is mid month and my second post as Guest Designer over at Path of Positivity where the theme this month is Generosity. There still is plenty of time to participate and get your projects posted. Remember, when posting your item to tell us what generosity means to you.

My inspiration for this card came from Ike's Art and the image is called New Baby.

New Baby

When I first saw this image, it looked like a gift from God..and the most generous gift of all is a new baby. I combined the New Baby image with a sentiment from Decosse Dynamite doodles to come up with my finished card.

I have been very fortunate in my life. I have a healthy son, a good job and we live comfortably. I know that there are not as many as fortunate as I have been and I try to remember that. I volunteer my time when I can, and donate to worthy causes. This year I started donating some of my cards to cards for hospitalized kids and also hope to donate some to Operation Write Home which is an organization that collects cards for military to use and keep in touch with their loved ones. I try to live my life with a generous heart and count my blessings every day.

The paper is from DCWV the Heirloom Stack and I used my Chromatix markes to color in the image.
