5 Miles every day

Hi everyone! It is time for another design team challenge. This week Kelly has challenged us to include animals is our design and we get extra points for making it funny.

The Riley image works great with a Funny Bones sentiment called 5 miles.

Don't forget that Stamper's Ink now offers a monthly kit. You can find more information by clicking on the Tickle My Funny Bones Card Club link.

Cornish Heritage Farms - Cats

It's that time again ....Challenge Time!  This week our challenge is hosted by Amber.

June is National Adopt a Cat Month so for our challenge this week, Amber has challenged the Design Team to make a card with a cat on it.

For my card this week I have used Cornish Heritage Farms' Best Friends Digital Stamp.

Want to play along???

If you would like to play along with us of course we would love to have you!

To play create a card using CHF images. You can use either CHF digital or rubber stamps to create a card or project.... anything you like as long as the stamps are Cornish Heritage Farms. (Yes, they can be older stamps).

If you upload your card/project to Splitcoast Stampers please use the keyword CHF81. We can't wait to see what you create!

A Valentine Weiner

If you have read my bio, you will see I have two little dachshund dogs. Just love those dogs to death. They follow me around like I am their mommy and I just love it. My neighbor started all of this. She is a lover of dachshunds as well. The two little dogs we have are from litters she has bred, so our doggies know her as "Grandma."

She is a supporter of my card making and has become a regular customer of  mine. She asked me to make her 4 Valentine Day cards and of course she wanted them with "Weiner" dogs. I recently won some digi's from QKR stampede and low and behold, they had a weiner dog. Well, of course I had to get it, and isn't it a cute one? She said that she loves my vintage cards, and I love making this style, so I decided I would combine my digi with some vintage flare.

They came out so cute I had to make a couple for myself to send out. So hopefully my Mom doesn't read this before she gets her card. So I thought I would end this post with a picture of my two little babies...

This is one of my favorite pictures of them. They have the look of "really mom?" They are not a fan of bathing, but being that they are in the house so much, it is something they have to tolerate.

I am giving the cards to my neighbor today. Can't wait to see the expression on her face.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenge # 5...... Anything Goes

It is that time again. Another fun challenge at Suzy Bee's Bloomin  Challenges. This week it is anything goes. So no excuses. Everyone can play along! It is Team A's week, but I wanted to play too. I have been making so many Christmas cards, it is a treat to create something different. So I went with Friendship! We think about friends a lot over the holiday season, so I made this special card in honor of all those "unlikely" friendships. We never know where our friends will come from, and typically the least obvious friendships become the strongest.

Remember, there are no size restrictions, CD Printouts also are acceptable. Your entry does not even have to be a Card.

Our sponsor this week is Eureka Stamps. Pop on over if you have a chance and take a look at all of her wonderful products.

Here is what I did:

Images were colored using my pencils from Artist Loft and Gamsol blending solution. I added two star punches and a boarder from Spellbinders shapeabilities "Asian Accents". The paper was from my stash and the sentiment I made up myself. I even went a step further and completed the inside of my card with matching paper and a paw stamp.

I hope my card has inspired you. I was very pleased with the way it turned out, now I just have to decide what special friend I will send it to.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
