FREE - Military Pay Book

Military Pay Book

Dated: 1917

This image is so delicate, I was almost afraid to scan it, but what an awesome find. We found this at a vintage swap meet called "Junk in the Trunk." What was amazing is the entire collection is from one military soldier and it follows him through his service through his letters to his family and loved one. I hope you like this collection.

P.S. I have candy! Check out my 2-year Blogiversary celebration post here

Our Boys in Blue like Cookies too!

My sister put together a care package for a friend serving in the military. She was able to get several people to donate Girl Scout Cookies and will be sending them out next week. It is the little things that remind these boys of home and hopefully make their time away from home a little easier.

She asked me to make a card, and I had a hard time finding an image. So if any of you readers know of any sites that have military images, I would love the 411. I found this image as a freebie over at Scrap Happy Paper Crafter. She has lots of free digis, so pop over if you have a chance. The Thank you sentiment is from Created with tlc.

Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
