Creative Bug On the Loose - Spring Cleaning

It is time for another Challenge over at Creative Bug on the Loose. We were excited to see several people join last month and hope to see even more play along this time around. The challenge will run from June 4th - July 1st, so you have plenty of time to play along.

Our theme is this month is Spring Cleaning: Out with the old and in with the new. As always, you must use a Creative Bug images to enter. If you don't have one, no worries as we are offering up a freebie to play along.

We are offering up some wonderful prizes:
  • Five digital images from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots for a person chosen in a random draw based on all eligible entrants.
  • A top three will also be chosen (as long as there are a minimum of seven people entering).  Each person in the top three will also get to choose an image from the store.
The image I got to work with is called "Ladybug Layover".

It is such a fun Springy image. I have had those little Lady Bug stickers forever...this was a perfect time to dig them out of my stash and use them. I think they compliment image perfectly.

So what are you waiting for? Hop on over to Creative Bug on the Loose . We would love to have you play along.

Have you?

April Progressive Challenge - Imagine that

I have to say I am very proud of myself this year. I have faithfully participated in the 3 progressive challenges that I joined at the beginning of the year.

This month, Imagine that had a cute little set of Lady Bugs and Daisies. Their colored images are so vibrant, I just love working with them. I have these little clothes pins with Lady bugs on them and I get very excited every time I get to use them. I made another card earlier this month with Lady Bugs and was able to use that little clothes pin on that card as well.

I printed out the image on glossy paper and cut it into a tag. I used polka dot paper and washi tape from my stash along with some sticker Lady Bugs. I glued the clothes pin on with my glue gun and attached my little tag. So Cute! I just love how it looks.

Here is the set that we got for free this month:

Their sets are fantastic. Not only do you get the colored and black and white image, but you get several sentiments as well. It is well worth playing along each month!

So what are you waiting for? If you are not playing, you are definitely missing out.

Avenue 613 Create - Recycle or Reuse

Happy Sunday. It is time for another challenge over at Avenue 613 Create. Our theme this week is to recycle or reuse something in your project and our sponsor is Fred She Said.

The image I chose to work with is called Daisies and Ladybugs. The colored image was so vibrant that I decided to work with that instead of color my own.

Our sponsor is so generous, we got several images in this kit to create our project, so I decided to make a matching book marker to go with my card.

The back of the book marker is made from card board that I received in one of my design paper packaged. These card board inserts make great backings as they are so sturdy and durable. I have used them on book marks before and they work fantastic. After all, who wants a flimsy book marker? The Lady Bug clothes pin was in a craft package I found at the thrift shop. I knew they would come in handy.

So lets see what you can create? Can't wait to see it.
