I wanted to go with the theme of Create and I was able to put a perfect message onto my Art.
Believe in yourself
CREATE
and be the best version of you
The Impossible is often the Untried
The last sentence is a stamp from Tim Holtz. I use it often as it is so True. In art, nothing is impossible. You just have to try.
Here is what I did.
I wrapped the Burlap Panel with Tim Holtz Tissue Wrap and used Glue N Seal to hold it in place. Then I just started decorating. The stamp set I used is called Visual Artistr Clear Stamp. It has some great sayings. The key is also from Tim Holtz called Word Keys. I have used these on several of my projects. Love them!
The word CREATE was put together using Alpha Parts - Ransom. I distressed it using Distress Paint called Forrest Moss. The fun sentiment was put together using Chit Chat Words stickers. I also used cheese cloth for the first time to give it some texture.
This fantastic clock was another sticker from Tim Holtz called Salvage Stickers - Lost & Found. I found the clock arms in a discount bin at Michaels.
I added some stamped images, gems, baubles, trinket pin along with some other embellishments to finish it off. It was a lot of fun to make.
I recently created a Valentine's Day one, but you will have to wait until next month to see that one. LOL!
Well, I sure hope that you like it and certainly appreciate you stopping by. I have listed all the supplies below. If you have never made a burlap panel wall hanging, you should give it a try, at least once. They are a lot of fun to put together.
Supplies used
cheese cloth
Prima Flowers
Distress ink broken china, victorian velvet
