Happy Saturday! This is my first DT card for the new year. Hopefully everyone is well rested from the holiday hustle and bustle and ready to get down to some card making.This week at Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenges the theme is Clean and Simple. What a perfect theme to begin the year.
The image I chose to work with this week was Tea Cup. In these winter months, who wouldn't want to sit down to a nice cup of tea? So here is my card.

| Friendship Warms the Heart |
I have a friend that is having surgery, so I thought I would put a get well sentiment inside and send it off to her.
Here is what I did:
- Light blue card stock for base of card
- Embossing Folder from the Paper Studio
- Paper Doily on top of embossed cardstock
- Colored image with Artist's Loft colored pencils and Gamsol Blending Solution
- Sentiment from Hero Arts Rubber Stamp
The sentiment rubber stamp is actually a scene with tea cups and saucers, but i didn't quite fit on the card. So I cut around and just used the sentiment.
