Layered Valentine Cards

Hello friends! Can you believe that Valentine's Day is right around the corner? Hopefully you have been busy creating for your special Valentine. If not, I have an easy layered Valentine project for you.

To start out, I grabbed some Cardstock from Canvas Corp brand to fit the occasion. 

Using an oval die, I cut out the floral cardstock.  I adhered the washi tape and the oval cardstock to the red and white striped cardstock.

I adhered some pop up roses to my floral cardstock using pop ups from European Paper Crafts. 

Finally, I cut out some sentiments from The sentiment sheet also from Canvas Corp Brands. 

This was such an easy project, I decided to make a few cards.  I hope you all have a great Valentine's Day!

STAMPlorations - Sketch and Theme Challenge

For my second card of the month, I decided to go back to my roots and create a grungy mixed media card. I am using the stamp called "Do what you Love"...so I did.

I went with the theme of hearts, but you can always use the sketch below for your inspiration.

Masculine and Feminine Cards using same stamp set

Hi everyone! Well I finally got a chance to get grungy in my craft room. I have had an idea about an ongoing series for my You Tube Channel using one stamp set to create a Masculine and Feminine Card.

I used many of the same techniques for both cards, but as you can see, one is clearly a girl robot and the other is a boy robot.  For the girl, I didn't use as many gears, but focused more on the color Pink.

for the boy robot, I went all industrial and even hooked him up to a conveyor belt.  While both cards came from the same set, you can see that you can easily create a male or female card, helping our stash to just go a little bit farther.

Guest Designer - Robin Sizemore
