Friendship Day

Did you know that today is Friendship Day? It was originally founded by Hallmark back in 1919 and was intended for a way for people to celebrate friendship by sending each other cards. In 2011 the United Nations officially recognized July 30th as International Friendship Day, but most countries celebrate on the first Sunday in August.

So what better way to celebrate Friendship Day than a challenge over at 613 Avenue Create.

The image I am working with is called Popcorn Monkey. I had some circus design paper that I though would work great with this image. I used lots of Red on this card, my favorite color.

Kids Birthday cards

TGIF! I wanted to start my weekend off early with this fun little card. It seems the only cards I have been making recently are Christmas Cards, so I was very excited when I found this image over at The Creative Bug. I knew instantly what I would do with it. I have some paper that is Circus theme'd and it worked perfectly for this little card. The image is fun and very cute! I like this card so much, I think I will make a few of them. The image is currently being offered for free, so check it out if you have a chance. All of her digi's are only $1, so they are very affordable and are fun to work with.
