Path of Positivity Challenge #18 Determination

What a fabulous Monday, especially since I do not have to work. today is Labor Day in the states, so It is nice to have a day off and enjoy a long weekend.

Today is also the start of another challenge over at Path of Positivity.

Determination is a funny word isn't it? It is believing in yourself, knowing you can do something even when you experience failures along the way. But with every failure, we get closer and closer to success. When we make mistakes, we are actually getting better. We are learning what NOT to do next time. We just have to have the confidence and DETERMINATION to continue on and try again. Sometimes people give up before they hit their goal, they feel it is too hard, or takes to much work, but if it is truly something we want, we will be successful...eventually in all we try. And for those who give up before they meet that goal, perhaps that goal really wasn't as important to you as you thought it was.

My image today is a beautiful image from Pickled Potpourri Designs. It is called "Make Things Beautiful". 

When I saw this image, I knew that I would create a Monochrome card. If you are a regular follower, vintage and black and white some of my favorite designs. I love the sentiment on the card. It is such a great sentiment for crafters and creators of all mediums.  I create for myself, and am touched when others like my work. After all Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

I found this sentiment on line, and thought it worked perfectly for this challenge.  I think we are all born Destined for something great, why else would GOD put us on this earth, but it is the Determined that fulfill that Destiny with Determination.

Path of Positivity - Mid Month Challenge Thoughtfulness

Our Theme this week over at Path of Positivity is Thoughtfulness. We have had some great projects submitted thus far and we would love to see your interpretation on this theme.

Flowers are always a way to be thoughtful. It is no surprise that many people give flowers for special occasions or just to let someone know you are thinking of them.

I also created a card using an image from one of our regular sponsors. This image is from Ike's Art and is called "Greek Window." Who wouldn't want to sit by this window and ponder their thoughts?
