Artist Trading Coins seem to be the new craze. I came across this idea on a few videos I watched on You tube. These little coins were perfect to use up some of my small Tim Holtz Paper dolls.

The background technique is very easy to create. I was able to add several layers of metallic acrylic paint and also created some texture using embossing folders, in a non traditional way.
These coins not only can be used for trading, they can be great additions to your cards, journals and more.
