Hi everyone! Can you believe that we are now in August? Fall is just around the corner. Well with another month means another card in my 12 months of Graphic 45.
This month I decided to create some focal points by cutting out some circles in my ephemera. I know many people struggle with cutting up pretty paper, but hopefully this finished product will take away some of your skepticism.
To see how I created this card, you can click on my video below.
One of the things I like to do when I am cutting up an image is to mat it on dark card stock. This ensures that the image doesn't get lost in some of the other ephemera you may be using. By matting each circle, it ensures that each image has a distinct focal point.
I also like to create different layers using pop up foam adhesive. This creates a nice staggered result and helps with the overall layout.
Thanks for stopping by.
