Burlap Christmas Canvas

I love digging through old family photos and when I found this one, I knew I had to create some sort of family keepsake. I wanted to create something I could display every holiday season as a keepsake and reminder of my Mother-in-law who is no longer with our family.



This photo is of my husband's mom when she was a child. She is the one sitting on the left.  It is a great vintage Santa photo, but makes it even more special having a family member in it.


I created this burlap panel using ephemera and metal elements from Tim Holtz.  To see how I created this burlap wall hanging click on my video below.


In this video I talk about what worked and what didn't. Hopefully it will give you some tips if you decide to create one of these keepsakes of your own. I have listed all the products I used below.
