I have been waiting ALL YEAR to use this die cut. My girlfriend gave it to me early last year and it has been sitting on my shelf attracting dust.
This die cut is from Sizzix and is called Packages & Bows. I have to remind myself that presents don't just come at Christmas time and I should be able to use this all year long! OK...Note to Self!
I used Vintage looking paper and some brads. I used my fancy scissors to cut around the edges. I though it made it look a bit more rustic. I suppose I could also tear the sides.. I will have to try that next time.
You can see that I also used distressing ink around the presents to give it an old/vintage look. Finally, I attached a word band with some twine.
I just love these vintage cards! I know I will need to make a few more of these.
