Our theme this month is Peace and our sponsor is Sparkle N Sprinkle. Now when most think of the word peace, it usually relates to War. Many of the quotes I found out there on peace reference it to war. But Peace to me is a sense of calm. It is when there is balance in ones life. Having peace of mind may refer to inner peace, satisfaction of a decision you have made or where you are at in your life. Peace and Quiet, where one can hear themselves think, ponder and just enjoy the beauty of the moment, separating yourself from the hustle and bustle of the world and just enjoy. That is what I think of when I hear the word Peace.
For my inspiration this month, I chose to work with some nature images. What could be more peaceful than a hummingbird and a flower?
The quote reads: Peace is the inner nature of humankind. When I found this quote, I knew it would be perfect for a Nature/Peace card.
So what does Peace mean to you? We would love to hear your story and/or see your inspiration.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
- Ends April 15 - 2 Cute Ink Challenge - Anything Goes
- Ends April 30 - Imagination Crafts - Anything Goes

ReplyDeleteBeautiful job Monica. When I first think of the concept of peace, I, like you, think about that inner sense of calmness. Nothing can bring calmness on better than balance in ones life. Boy do I need to find some balance!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour project is a beautiful reflection of the peace that you are talking about. That quote works perfectly too. Thanks for another wonderful creation!
Hugs,
