BAH HUMBUG Display

Creative holiday decorations are always fun and very unique. I made several Christmas cards this year using these stamped images from Riley and Company as well as So Suzy Stamps, but I wanted a way to display this cute little guy!

Form my holiday frame I used the NEW Clear Magnetic Curved Frame that will be available from Deflecto Crafting Solutions in January 2016. I adhered my matted Grinch image onto some Christmas Designer Paper
The sentiment images are both from So Suzy Stamps called Bah Humbug and Grinch

I used two Double Clip Sign Holders to display both my sentiments. This display could work for most any picture you would want to display. You could even tell a little story about the picture and attach it.

Organizing my Stash!

Hey everyone! I wanted to share with you a couple of links to help you get some of your stash organized. I don't know about you, but organizing my craft room is one of my major goals for early 2016.

I am not just talking about straightening things up, I am going through everything and getting rid of what I don't use, unmounting wood blocked stamps and storing them in stufftainers, and organizing all my distress inks!

Ranger Inks has several printables to help us organize our Ranger products. One of the ones that has recently been updated is the Distress Ink Chart. This chart is great becuase you can see at a glance what colors you have and how they looked stamped.

They also have these great distress labels so that you can see what colors you have when they are stacked.

I have several of these stufftainers and plan on adding several more this Christmas! I will use them to store my stamps that I have unmounted from my wood blocks. I am an affiliate of Blitsy and do get a small percentage if you order through my link below.

If you have never ordered from Blitsy, I welcome you to use this $10 off coupon on your first order.

If you can't say something nice...

Growing up I am sure we all heard, "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." But what fun is there in that???

I created this card for our DT challenge over at Riley and company where we were challenged to use Brown in our card. Apparently today is National Brownie Day.

I think I like this alternative solution better. What do you think? The Riley image I used is called Cell Phone Riley and the funny bones is called "If you can't say something nice."

Don't forget to check out the Riley and Company Design Team's cards on their blogs!

Airplanes are great for masculine cards

Hi everyone. I am truly excited to be part of the 2016 design team for So Suzy Stamps. Our card theme this month is anything goes, which means my imagination was boundless. This theme works perfect with one of the new sentiments released this month, world of reality, so let me show you what I did.

Many people struggle with masculine cards. This Bi Plane stamp is a great stamp to overcome those struggles, enabling you to put a masculine card together in minutes.

The silhouette stamps work great stamped over a sun or moon and the sentiment was stamped using distress inks. I started out with some yellow paper from Crate paper. The paper looked like sun beams, which worked great for my sun.

I cut out my own round stencil using my die cuts and added Mustard Seed Distress Ink. I used simple blue painters tape to hold down my paper stencil and it worked great.

I adhered the 4.25" x 5.5" piece of paper to black card stock and added some washi tape.

When stamping the airplane, don't be afraid to go off the edges. The results are stunning.

I stamped the cloud images onto white card stock and fussy cut them out. No I have not un boxed my SNC, but that will be this month for sure!

I also stamped a pointed finger image to balance out my card.

Thanks for popping over and checking out my card.
