Mounting and Storage Solution for Rubber Stamps

Hi everyone! I am here today to share with you how I mount and store my unmounted rubber stamps. Several of the design teams that I have been a part of provide unmounted stamp sets to their DT members. Needless to say, I have collected a lot of unmounted rubber stamps.

I live to mount them on EZ Mount Foam because it provides the cling backing to be able to use my stamps on my MISTI and acrylic blocks.
But I also needed a way to be able to store and find my stamps quickly and easily.

I created a video to show you how I mount and store my rubber stamps.

I like to use my retractable Craft knife and Scissors from Tonic Studio to cut down my mounting foam board and rubber stamps.

Once I have them all cut, I stamp them on to some white copy paper and fussy cut them out.

I then store my stamps in the thin Stuftainers from Stampendous and tape my stamped image on the outside of my Stuftainer directly over the rubber stamp that the image represents.

The Stuftainers are thin, stackable and with the images taped to the outside a great storage solution for my newly mounted rubber stamps.

The stamps sets that I mounted in this video are from I Brake For Stamps Humorous Senior collection and are called Half Sheet #046 and Half Sheet #052. Using Coupon Code: SAVE10MONICA will get you 10% off your next purchase.

I hope that it is helpful and give gives you some ideas on how to mount and store yours.

Here are a few ways I have used these products:

I love having inspiration all around me. The Deflecto storage bins are easy to decorate with my favorite designer paper and washi tape.

The Caddy organizer is my favorite! I have 3 and they are completely filled with my mixed media products.

They are stackable making them easy to sit on my craft desk and not take up a lot of room.

They can even be mounted up on the wall!

So if you are thinking of getting organized, now is the time to do so.  For your convenience, I have provided links below!

Store and Display with Deflecto

I love making tags. They are great ways to try out new techniques. I will often refer back to my tags when I am looking for inspiration.

A great way to store and display my tags is to clasp them together using the Deflecto Pear Clips. I can easily sort through my finished tags and refer back to them when creating.

They also work great to attach the Deflecto Flexible Pouches. These flexible pouches, along with the magnetic craft sheet work great for storing my stencils.

Make sure to follow Deflecto Crafts on Pinterest and Facebook for more inspiration!

Enjoy!

Who says storage can't be Beautiful AND Functional?

I always feel more crafty when my room has ambiance. I not only want to make beautiful things, I want to surround myself with them as well. I choice to make this cigar box into an ephemera storage box which will hold all my beautiful ephemera I use for my cards and altered items

I have had this colored for a while, so it was just a matter of decorating and labeling it. The Deflecto tag worked perfectly for this. The White marker was so smooth and made the labeling of my box very simple.

I was so happy that I was able o use my die cuts to shape my tag. It gave the box that much more character.

I wanted to not only decorate the outside of my box, but fill it with beautiful goodies as well. I used some printables from VectoriaDesigns to store my lace and buttons. It makes them easy to store and find for that perfect project.
