Tonight I Dream...

Hi everyone! I am here today to share with you my very last post as a design team member for Simply Stamps. It has been great fun being part of this team and I hope that you have enjoyed my inspiration along the way. 

I created this card using a stamp from So Suzy Stamps and a custom sentiment from Simply Stamps. While this is one stamp, I was able to split up the sentiment by inking the top part first, then the bottom portion.

For the background, I used distress oxides. Before adding the oxides, I cut out a piece of post it note paper with a round die cut and used it to create my moon.

Then I swiped my the faded jeans and fossilized amber distress oxide onto my craft mat. I then spritzed the ink with water and dabbed my card stock onto the wet ink.

Using my MISTI, I was able to get a nice clean crisp image of the two cats in the tree as well as the sentiment.  To finish off the project, I splattered some black soot distress paint onto the background and matted the finished project onto some white card stock.
