Birthday packaging ensemble

Have you ever gone to wrap a birthday present last minute and realized you don't have wrapping paper, a card or a tag? Well I am here today to show you how you can create your own matching set in minutes.

I first gathered a few items including my Happy Birthday Stamp from Simply Stamps.  I cut out all the die cuts using my Tim Holtz die cut called Packages & Bows and Tags Scallop die cut from Sizzix.

I then added some washi tape to the tag and a piece of paper measuring 4.25" x 5.5".  Using my stitched boarder die, I cut down the white card stock and adhered it onto some turquoise card stock measuring 4" x 5.25".

If you would like to watch my process video, I have provided the link below.

I stamped my Happy Birthday sentiment onto the tag and white card stock using my MISTI tool. used Peacock feathers distress ink to ink the edges of the tag and added some bakers twine.

I then sanded the presents to make them look grungy and distressed the edges using black soot distress ink. I added the presents to the tag and white card stock and adhered the cardstock to an A2 card base.

To finish off the set I added some matching washi tape to a white gift bag and added stacked matching die cut presents.

Thanks for stopping by!
