Decorative Mini Note Pads using Architextures

Image
Even the simplest things bring me joy. I know we all have note pads in our homes, some in every room. I am sharing with you today some fun little decorated note books I created using my scallop die cut and Architextures finding and junque packs.

You can find my process in the video below.

There are several Treasures that will work. I found that the long vertical ones worked best with my scallop die.

I adhered some double sided adhesive to some heavy thickboard and adhered some of the junque pack panels. I then cut them out using my big shot and scallop die.

The packaging works great to decorate the inside of the covers.

Using walnut stain distress ink, I using my dauber to distress the edges.

I cut out 15 more panels of cardstock using the scallop die and adhered everything with a metal ring.

These were so fun to make that I created a few form my home.

Multiple uses of Washi Tape

Image
Hello friends and happy Monday!  Washi tape is one of my favorite supplies to use. There are so many designs out there and now many of the shops are creating multiples sizes.

I continue to be surprised that while many people love washi tape, they are stumped at the multiple ways to use it. If you would like to see three ways I used my washi tape for these two cards, you can find my process video below.

I am using two sets of beautiful washi tape from Prima Marketing. It is almost too pretty to use, but I don't let that stop me.

For this card, I used a strip of the thinner washi tape and used it as a border. I also adhered some of the tape to some cardstock and fussy cut some of the images and added them to my card with some foam tape.

I used two sets of washi tapes to create the background for this card.  The background was too busy for stamping, so I cut out the sentiment using a die and inserted it from another image I had stamped on some cardstock that had a distressed oxide back…

Layered Valentine Cards

Image
Hello friends! Can you believe that Valentine's Day is right around the corner? Hopefully you have been busy creating for your special Valentine. If not, I have an easy layered Valentine project for you.

Be sure to check out my process video below.

To start out, I grabbed some Cardstock from Canvas Corp brand to fit the occasion.

Using an oval die, I cut out the floral cardstock.  I adhered the washi tape and the oval cardstock to the red and white striped cardstock.

I adhered some pop up roses to my floral cardstock using pop ups from European Paper Crafts.

Finally, I cut out some sentiments from The sentiment sheet also from Canvas Corp Brands.

This was such an easy project, I decided to make a few cards.  I hope you all have a great Valentine's Day!

Thanks for stopping by.

Masculine and Feminine Cards using same stamp set

Image
Hi everyone! Well I finally got a chance to get grungy in my craft room. I have had an idea about an ongoing series for my You Tube Channel using one stamp set to create a Masculine and Feminine Card.

You can check out my process video below.

I used many of the same techniques for both cards, but as you can see, one is clearly a girl robot and the other is a boy robot.  For the girl, I didn't use as many gears, but focused more on the color Pink.

for the boy robot, I went all industrial and even hooked him up to a conveyor belt.  While both cards came from the same set, you can see that you can easily create a male or female card, helping our stash to just go a little bit farther.
