Hi everyone and welcome to our November theme and Photo challenge over at STAMPlorations

I chose to use the photo as my inspiration today. I am using the stamp set called IN BLOOM: floral Bliss Trio.  I have outlined the stamped image using Gold Pen Touch. This is the first time i have tried this product and I was impressed on the ease of using it.

To go along with the Circle prompt of the challenge, I die cut the rose in the center and popped it up with some foam tape to give it a spotlight affect.

You can link up any kind of project as long as it's inspired by the theme, the photo, or both!

We ask you to include stamping of some kind in your project (rubber, clear or digi stamps are all permitted). Brutus Monroe Blog Hop

Image
Hi Crafty Friends! I am excited to be participating in a blog hop with my friends over at Brutus Monroe.

I had such a great time guest designing this month and I was honored to be asked to participate in the team blog hop.  For my project, I decided to showcase this beautiful paper collection called Rustic florals.

This paper is so beautiful, and I knew when I saw it, I had to have it. I decided to create a layered card using this paper set and some black card stock.

So I started out by cutting my first layer using one rectangular dies I had in my stash.  Then I cut a piece of black card stock about 1/4 inch larger around the edged.

Then I took then next smaller die and did the same thing and adhered this layer onto the first layer.

I wanted my final layer to stand out a bit more, so I adhered that using some double sided foam tape.

I decided to go simple with my sentiment and cut out the word "HI" several times with one of my letter sets. As a final touch, I added some black …

Winter Wishes - Christmas in July

Image
Hi everyone. I am excited to be a guest designer over at Brutus Monroe. It was perfect timing to fit in with my Christmas in July series going on this month over on my You Tube Channel.

The first card set I will be sharing with you were created using the Build a Snowman Stamp set.  When I saw this set, which has a warn top hat, it reminded me of the old Frosty the Snowman movie.  You remember the one, where Frosty comes to life when the magician's hat is placed on his head. I knew I had to get this set. So let me show you what I did.

I started by stamping the hat, sunglasses, and scarf and fussy cut those items. I also stamped the snow man as I needed to fussy cut his carrot nose and arm twigs.

So I decided by stamping the melted snow on some white card stock.

I also stamped the snow man as I needed to fussy cut his carrot nose and arm twigs.

I used a Nuvo glue pen to glue down my pieces.  I found it was easier to glue them down first then color them. this ensured I did not smudge my…

Gingerbread House

Image
Hi everyone! Well as you probably know by now, I am celebrating all month long with my Christmas in July. I am also guest designing over on the Brutus Monroe blog so I thought it would be fun to incorporate some of his stamps into my series.

Today i am working with the stamp set called Gingerbread Village. This set is so cute and there are so many possibilities with it. Let me show you what I created.

I made a few cards using this stamp set and the first time I stamped everything on white card stock and colored in the images using my copic markers. But I know that everyone does not have copic markers, so I decided to show you another way to get around a lot of the coloring.

Kraft Card stock is the perfect color for gingerbread. So I stamped my house and gingerbread man onto some kraft card stock.  Before fussy cutting the images, I adhered some double sided adhesive so that I could create stickers.  I find with smaller images, it is easier to use double sided adhesive that way I know th…
