Stamping with Ken Oliver Liquid Metals

Hello today I wanted to share with you a new way to use your Liquid Metals from the Ken Oliver collection. This technique works great when combining a solid stamp with a matching outline stamp.

To see how I created this card, please visit my You Tube channel by clicking the image below.

Liquid Metals make fun shiny backgrounds, but did you know that they are great for stamping as well? They work especially well when combining a matching solid and outline stamp set.

Wispy Chrysanthemum

The Wispy Chrysanthemum stamp along with the Wispy Chrysanthemum outline are a perfect combination to create a beautiful floral background.

Liquid Metals are added to the solid Chrysanthemum stamp using a paint brush and some water.  Once dry, the Outline stamp is used to create a wonderful contrast.

While this technique is very easy, it create a very elegant background that can be used for so many occasions. For fun I have linked this card up to the STAMPlorations August challenge.

  1. OOOo! Love the background you created here! It's almost a little bit plaid-like!
